SERIE A ROUND 6

INTER - NO END TO THE NIGHTMARE

Inter's misery continues with another defeat at home to lowly Lecce. Parma
move back into the title picture with a late victory over Udinese. A mistake
by Van der Sar gifts Lazio a point in Turin. A Totti inspired Roma move to
the top of the league. Atalanta trail them by a point and remain the only
unbeaten team in the league following victory over Brescia.

saves from Crespo and Nedved. Juve had a couple of half arsed penalty appeals
turned down, the type of decisions that used to go in their favour in the past.

Madsen 71 Bierhoff 67
							Shevchenko 74

took 67 minutes for the first goal to arrive, Bierhoff heading in Coco's
cross. Madsen equalised with an excellent volley from the edge of the box.
Shevchenko put Milan back in front from the penalty spot, awarded for a
rugby tackle on Coco and made the game safe from Jose Mari's cut back.

Cruz, he ran from the half way line, turned Pierini inside out twice and shot
into the corner. The ref dreamed up a penalty for a supposed foul on Leandro,

Cruz.

tipped Blanc's spot kick to safety. Piangerelli pounced on slack control by
Farinos (or Jugovic) and passed to Conticchio who in turn found Vugrinec and
the Croat slammed a first time shot past Ballotta. Malusci was harshly sent
off for 'bringing' down Sukur when through on goal. A rusty Vieri wasted
several chances though Sukur was guilty of the worst miss, heading over from
a rebound in front of goal. Ballotta made an excellent save to deny Lucarelli.

Attendance : 60,000
Assist : Conticchio
Red Card : Malusci 31 (Lecce)

excellent save from Candela and typically following up with one of his
specials, spilling a pass to Delvecchio who should be shot for missing an
open goal. Bogdani rose above the Roma defence to head in a free kick. Taibi
made World Class saves from Totti and Cafu before Montella won the match with
a great goal, Zanetti launched the ball into the box, Totti headed down and
Montella volleyed into the net.
