the ball sailed over the wall before wickedly dipping into the net. Antonio
Filippini's goal was equally spectacular, a stunning long range drive which

Very impressive result given Brescia were without Baggio and Guardiola.

Paris foolishly attempted to tackle Cassato as he ran into the box, he barely
made contact but Cassato made sure he went down and Corini converted.
Corini's wicked free kick was cleared but Manfredini latched onto the ball
and shot at goal, the ball struck D'Anna and standing virtually on the
goal-line he couldn't miss.

in off the post. He added another few billion lira to his transfer fee by heading

Doni is almost certain to leave Atalanta when the transfer market re-opens.
Juve and Lazio are favourites for his signature. He will be Italy's secret
weapon during the World Cup.

Fattori. Spectacularly poor defending gifted Torino the equaliser. Oddo
headed a corner towards his own goal, Vergassola's shot was superbly
cleared off the line by defender Cannavaro's one handed save but Ferrante
lashed the ball into an empty net. Verona then collapsed, a hat-trick of
headers sending Torino racing into the lead. Diliso's sloppy back pass
allowed Lucarelli in for Toro's fifth.

Mendieta was once again on the bench and once again Lazio won the match.
Inzaghi headed against the post from Liverani's free kick. Buffon came out
of his box and headed out Tacchinardi's sloppy back pass, the ball dropped at
Liverani's feet and he sent an awesome lob straight into the net. Crespo shot
against the post. Trezeguet blew Juve's best chance when he volleyed into
the ground from close range.
