in the Renato Dall'Ara. Juve crush Reggina. Chievo ruin Dacourt's home debut
with victory in the Olimpico and Brescia managed to hold Lazio to a goal-less
draw.

Crespo laid Almeyda’s pass off to Recoba and continued his run forward,
Recoba skipped a tackle and let fly with a low drive which caught out Ballotta.
Conceicao hit a pass into Crespo, he volleyed the ball back, spun round then
arrived in the box to powerfully head Conceicao's cross into the net. Brilliant
goal. Minutes later he was about to add a second but fell in the box in agony
as his thigh gave way. Looks to be a serious injury. Inter's attack fizzled out
once he left.

Shevchenko tried to play a one-two with Gattuso, Colucci got in the way but
hit the ball straight against the Milan striker and he brushed aside Colucci
before smashing high into the net. Serginho, on as a second half substitute
for Rui Costa (I don't need to add anything) then proceeded to torment
Bologna. An outstanding tackle by Paramatti denied Rivaldo a certain goal
from Serginho's centre. Minutes later Shevchenko was foiled by another last
ditch tackle. Rivaldo's corner bounced off Ambrosini and Serginho lashed
home. He then used his outrageous pace to latch onto a Pirlo pass and send
a ball to the back post where an unmarked Shevchenko shot wide. Rivaldo
came within inches of adding a third for Milan but Shevchenko over hit a
pass. Ambrosini picked out Serginho on a counter attack with a glorious
long pass, he left the Bologna defence in his wake but his attempted lob was
easily saved by the quick thinking Pagliuca. Dida made one of his trademark
clangers late on but Locatelli? fluffed his shot.

Taibi went up for a cross and punched the ball straight to Corrent, he miss hit the
ball, Bjelanovic stuck out a boot, 1-0. Foglio equalised with a crisp first time strike
from Berretta's center.

Zauri was sent off for a foul on Caccia. The replay was inconclusive.

were still fish, that's how old he is! Trezeguet added a second with an
overhead kick after Belardi punched out a Del Piero effort. Lariat-ooooooooooo!
Nedved should have been sent off for trying to lariat Cirillo. Cozza turned
Trezeguet's center past his own 'keeper. Cirillo chopped down Del Piero in the
box, he converted the penalty and Di Vaio completed the rout after a one-two
with Trezeguet.

Another sublime goal from the ever outstanding Mutu. There was a hint of
handball as he controlled Barone's pass down the left wing, he charged
forward, crucified Boselli with a nutmeg before lifted the ball over Guardalben.
Di Loreto missed an open goal after rounding Frey. Frey made one of his
ridiculous saves from a deflected shot, he somehow managed to adjust
himself in mid-flight and push the ball to safety. Tosto equalised with a
brilliant header from Maresca's free kick. Mutu missed a sitter late on.

Roma had lots of speculative long range shots that went nowhere. Batistuta
replaced Montella who is the latest victim of the Capello effect i.e. he's had
all the talent coached out of him. Guardiola, complete with pornstar
moustache, replaced Dacourt. Pelizzoli made a brilliant save from Marazzina.
Cossato played in Marrazina with a great disguised pass that completely took
out Samuel, Pelizzoli punched out his cross but Cossato smashed home the
rebound.
