MILAN 2-1

LAZIO

Shevchenko 72

Oddo 56 (Pen)

Crespo 93

Milan were so poor in the first half they were booed off the pitch which is an
extremely rare occurrence at the San Siro.

Stam, who was once again absolutely awful, conceded a penalty when he kicked
Rocchi in the ribs. Dida got a touch to Oddo's spot kick but couldn't keep the ball
out. A half fit Shevchenko replaced Tomasson and Cafu (for Seedorf) and Serginho
(for Kaladze) followed five minutes later. Shevchenko equalised with an amazing
free kick and Crespo hit the winner deep into injury time after Kaka's shot came
back off a post. Crespo looked offside.

Stam sat on the bench for 70 minutes in mid-week and until he gets out of the funk
he's in right now that's where he should stay. Seedorf was once again awful and
I don't think any Milan supporter understands why he starts ahead of Dhorasoo.
Rui Costa and Ambrosini should play more often because Kaka' and Gattuso are
way below par. You would expect a team with this much experience to cope better
with the pressure.

LECCE

Gobbi 11

Vucinic 38

Esposito 74, 87

Gobbi headed past Sicignano after Esposito helped on Zola's corner. Vucinic equalised
when he volleyed Angelo's free kick past Sicignano. Sicignano was sent off for a
ridiculous two footed lung on Esposito 20 yards from goal. His replacement Anania
made an excellent save from the resulting free kick, taken of course by Zola.
Esposito finished off a wonderful four man move by heading down Bianchi's cross
then volleying over Anania. He made the points safe with a bullet header three
minutes from time.

INTER

Simplico 36 (Pen)

Cordoba 76

Gilardino 60

Vieri 82 (Pen)

Materazzi was sent off for handling Bresciano's shot on the line. Simplico converted
the spot kick. Gilardino scored an extraordinary second goal. Morfeo slipped as he
onnected with Marchionni's cross, the ball fell to Gilardino who, with his back to
goal, flicked it up, turned and hit an overhead kick into the roof of the net. Cordoba,
the shortest man on the pitch, out jumped everyone to head in Mihajlovic's free kick.
Bonera them hauled him down to concede a penalty. Vieri hammered the ball into
the top corner then missed a great chance to score the winner when he failed to
connect with Adriano's cross. Frey made a magnificent save to prevent Bonera
from scoring an own goal.

REGGINA 3-3

SIENA

Franceschini 45

Vergassola 7

Borriello 81

Chiesa 26, 57

Paredes 84

When attempting to clear Franceschini's cross Cannarsa struck the ball against
Vergassola and it looped over Pavarini. Vergassola started the counter attack which
lead to Siena's second, he won a ball in midfield and passed out wide to Chiesa, he
teased Cannarsa before bursting past and lashing the ball into the corner. Fortin,
who was almost punished for going walkabout on a corner, let Franceschini's header
slip through his fingers. Why he was standing behind his goal-line is anyone's guess.
At the other end Pavarini was too busy watching Vergassola and Chiesa's cross
bounced into the net. Fortin however was having an absolute nightmare and as he
ran back he caught the ball and dropped it at Borriello's feet, 2-3. Borriello headed
on Ballestri's cross and Paredes bravely threw himself at the ball to equalise.

BOLOGNA

Montella 9

Della Rocca 62

Cassano found Montella with a magnificent chipped pass, Montella rounded Pagliuca
and tapped into an empty net. Totti's 35 yard free kick rebounded off the crossbar.
Della Rocca punished Mexes' failure to clear Ferrante's cut back to equalise.

SAMPDORIA 3-0

FIORENTINA

Flachi 15

Tonetto 33

Diana 73

There was no way back for Fiorentina after two early cards. Bojinov was sent off for
jabbing an elbow into Volpi's chest, unlike most players Volpi didn't go down.
Delli Carri earned a second yellow for swearing at the referee. The luck clearly
wasn't with Fiorentina as five minutes later Samp went ahead due to a fluke goal.
Rossini controlled a cross on his chest before striking a volley on the turn, the ball
clipped team-mate Flachi and looped over Lupatelli. Rossini laid a pass into the path
of Tonetto and shut through Lupatelli's legs. Rossini was unable to complete a
hat-trick of assists after being stretchered off after catching his studs in the turf.
His substitute Inzaghi Jr flicked a ball out wide to Gasbarroni and Diana, who scored
the winner against Juve last week, side-footed into the roof of the corner.

Zoff's making noise about a conspiracy against his team, how pathetic.

Attendance : 23,000
Red Cards : Bojinov 8, Delli Carri 10
Assists : Rossini (x), Gasbarroni
