ATALANTA 3-0

CHIEVO

Marcolini 6 (Pen)
Makinwa 15
Montolovio 54

Marchegiani brought down 20 year old prodigy Makinwa to concede a penalty and
Marcolini thumped the ball to his left. Marchegiani left his goal to claim Natali's
wayward cross, he didn't notice Lazzari lurking on the back post and midfielder headed
the ball across goal for Makinwa to tap into an empty net. D'Anna blew a chance to
get Chievo back into the match when missed a penalty. Montolovio smashed in a
right foot volley following good work by Makinwa and Bellini.

Muzzi 16

Protti 62 (Pen)

Cesar 46 (Pen)
Rocchi 55

Liverani passed wide to Cesar, Grandoni missed his cross, Muzzi didn't. Cesar smashed
in a penalty after referee Messina incredibly awarded a penalty for shirt pulling in the
box. Mareggini came off his line to intercept Filippini's defence splitting pass but
Rocchi had too much pace for him and left him on his knees before tapping in the
third. Protti scored a consolation penalty following Zauri's clumsy challenge on
Colombo.

Attendance : 33,594
Assists : Cesar, Muzzi (won pen), E Filippini, Colombo (won pen)

LECCE 2-2

SIENA

Konan 10

Maccarone 18

Paci 55

Taddei 81

Konan scored within seconds of coming on as a substitute for Bjelanovic. Giacomazzi
volleyed a ball over the top of the Siena defence and he slammed into the bottom
corner. Multiple reject Maccarone equalised after redirecting D'Aversa's wayward
shot. Paci restored Lecce's lead after two Siena players got in each others way when
trying to clear a corner. Taddei pulled an equaliser out of thin air with a stunning
effort from 25 yards.

PALERMO 2-1

MESSINA

Zaccardo 53

Zampagna 69

Toni 76

Aronioa earned a second yellow for going through Morrone. Mutarelli flicked on Corini's
corner and Zaccardo volleyed past Storari. Zampagna headed in the equaliser from
D'Agostino's free kick. Toni made amends for two bad misses with a brilliant winner.
He chested down a cross from Zauli, held off the challenge of Zoro and Rezai as he
turned then shot under Storari. Corini was sent off for pulling back Di Napoli.

Attendance : 33,984
Red Cards : Aronioa 35 (Messina), Corini 82 (Palermo)

REGGINA 1-3

PARMA

Mozart 54 (Pen)

Morfeo 21, 49

Simplicio 64

With his back to goal Gilardino controlled a pass, rolled the ball between two defenders
leaving Morfeo with just the 'keeper to beat, 0-1. Early in the second half Morfeo ran
onto a deflected pass and with Pavarini guarding one post he fired the ball into the
opposite corner. Parma were furious when Tombolini awarded a penalty for a supposed
foul on Tedesco. From the replay I saw two Parma players went for the same ball and
Tedesco happened to be in the vicinity so decided to fall over. Mozart converted and
should have equalised minutes later but shot wide of the post. Simplicio got the
benefit of the doubt on a offside decision and rounded Soviero (Pavarani went off
injured in the first half) before tapping into an empty net.

Attendance : 16,000
Red Card : Bresciano 65 (Parma)
Assists : Gilardino, n/a, Tedesco (won pen), Morfeo

UDINESE 3-3

ROMA

Di Natale 27

Chivu 14 (fk)

Pinzi 33

Montella 23

Di Michele 75

Mancini 44

Chivu gave Roma the lead with a stunning left foot free kick. Montella scored a lucky
second when Mancini's deflected cross bounced straight onto his head. Ferrari hacked
Pizarro's free kick straight to Di Natale and he quick finish left Curci standing.
Pinzi equalised after a lightning fast attack. Pizarro rolled Di Michele's pass wide to
Jankulovski, the Czech winger fired in a cross, Di Michele back heeled to Pinzi and
he toe poked into the net. Having threw away a two goal lead Roma went back in
front late in the first half, Mancini controlled cross from Cassano before thumping the
ball into the corner. Pizarro lobbed a ball into the box, Di Michele controlled the ball
as he turned then lobbed over Curci, excellent finish.

Cufre punched Di Michele while the ref wasn't looking. Roma should sack the idiot,
he's hopeless. Only three of Roma's starting eleven were 25 or over (Dacourt,
Cufre & Montella).

Attendance : 15,000
Assists : Montella won fk, n/a, n/a, Di Michele, Cassano, Pizarro

MILAN 1-1

BRESCIA

Rui Costa 14

Wome 87

After Tomasson had missed an absolute sitter Rui Costa shot Milan into the lead with
a brilliant strike. He picked up the ball on the left touchline, made his way to the edge
of the box and curled inside the top corner. Milan were going through the motions
and Ancelotti, already without Stam, Maldini and Kaka', took off Tomasson and
Seedorf. They failed to clear a free kick and Stankevicius rolled the ball to the edge
of the D and Wome cracked a left foot shot into the corner. This prompted Ancelotti
to bring on Crespo but it was too late.

Attendance : 59,726
Assists : Gattuso, Stankevicius

FIORENTINA 3-3

JUVENTUS

Pazzini 14

Del Piero 22

Chiellini 36

Ibrahimovic 58, 82

Dainelli 75

This match was notable for some of the worst goalkeeping you're ever likely to see in
a Serie A match from Fiorentina's Cejas and Buffon wasn't great either. Pazzini sent
the Fiorentina (and Milan supporters) crazy with a brilliant shot from the edge of
the box. Del Piero ran onto a deflect pass and took a speculative, low shot, Cejas
completely missed, 1-1. Chiellini, joint owned by Juventus, headed in Jorgensen's cross
and left Thuram looking really, really stupid as he appealing for offside. Cejas once
again gifted Juve the equaliser. He rushed out of the box as Zalayeta and Chiellini
chased down a ball, completely bottled out of a challenge and feebly kicked straight
to Ibrahimovic who rolled into an empty net. Dainelli gave Fiorentina the lead for the
third time with a stunning diving header. Zalayeta returned Ibrahimovic's pass
with a back heel, Cejas dived early and Ibrahimovic lobbed over to keep Juve level
with Milan at the top of the table.

I cannot understand why Lupatelli was dropped. He is an excellent goalkeeper unlike
Cejas who is an absolute joke.
