LAZIO 4-2

PALERMO

Rocchi 58, 86

Caracciolo 36

Pandev 59

Gonzalez 49

Manfredini 65

There were approximately 237 chances before the opening goal. Santoni hit a
monstrous goalkick downfield, Caracciolo showed great pace to burst past two
defenders and lobbed over the advancing Peruzzi. Lazio should have been level
long before Gonzalez doubled the visitors advantage following good work by
Caracciolo and Makinwa. Santoni gifted Lazio a goal they desperately needed (and
deserved) when he charged off his line and almost floored one of his own
defenders, Rocchi rolled the ball into an empty net. A minute later Palermo
screwed up offside as Pandev raced onto Rocchi's pass and found the bottom
corner. Manfredini met Oddo's free kick with a mid air volley or heal, clearly
he didn't mean it. Palermo missed chances to draw level before they were hit
by a sucker punch. Rocchi started the move by skipping past a defender and
passing to Inzaghi. Inzaghi checked back, Dabo took the ball off him, ran into
the box and centred for Rocchi to tap-in.

Had Guardalben been fit Lazio wouldn't have made a comeback but on the balance
of play they deserved the three points. An incredible match. Pandev is coming along
nicely.

rolling the ball into the corner. Lucarelli converted a penalty awarded for handball.

SAMPDORIA 1-2

CHIEVO

Flachi 50

Franceschini 36

Obinna 61

This was a major upset given Samp's form leading upto this match but they never
got going and Chievo deservedly took the lead with a well worked goal. 18 year
old Obinna, playing his first ever Serie A match, beat a defender before laying
off the ball with a back heel to Luciano, his first time cross was flicked on by
Amauri and Franceschini headed into the corner. Flachi bounced Zauli's cross off
his chest and held off a defender before beating Fontana. Obinna gave Chievo the
points with an unbelievable goal. Standing with his back to play inside the box
diagonally on goal he controlled the ball with his right foot and beat a
defender with an outrageous turn while bringing the ball onto this left foot.
He took a couple of steps forward before changing direction, ran through two
more defenders and drilled the ball into the bottom corner with his right and
still had the energy to do a Martins style somersault. The best Serie A debut
since Cassano.

Attendance : 23,000
Assists : Amauri, Zauli, ?

SIENA 4-2

MESSINA

Locatelli 10, 46

Zoro 12

Chiesa 28, 40

Di Napoli 66

Siena looked to have wasted a chance to take the lead when Aronica overhit and pass
and Chiesa couldn't control however Locatelli latched onto the ball and just managed to
keep it in play, as Storari dived at his feet he turned away and rolled the ball inside the
post. Zoro blasted in the equaliser after Siena failed to clear a corner. Chiesa restored
Siena's lead with a tap-in and they ran away with the game either side of half time.
Siena should have been awarded a penalty for a clear handball but instead of
protesting Locatelli floated the ball into the box and Chiesa poked under Storari.
Locatelli helped himself to another goal 12 seconds after the re-start. Locatelli lost
possession but Fusco miss controlled a back pass and Locatelli pounced. Di Napoli
held off Portanova's half arsed challenge to complete the scoring.

TREVISO 0-2

MILAN

Shevchenko 44 (Pen)

Gilardino 73

Zancope floored Gilardino to concede a penalty and went for the sympathy vote by
feigning injury. Gilardino, who missed a hatful of chances, headed in the second after
Gattuso helped on Pirlo's cross.

Attendance : 17,000
Assists : Gilardino (won pen), Gattuso

REGGINA 2-0

UDINESE

Cozza 43
Cavalli 76

The pitch had more bald patches than Bobby Charlton. Cozza received a pass, turned
and let rip with a bullet of a shot straight into the top corner. While Udinese were
busy appealing for offside substitute Cavalli turned in ? cross.

As the old saying goes don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Despite having
2 years left on his contract Udinese are trying to blackmail Iaquinta into signing a
new one by leaving him on the bench. Since then they've lost two on the bounce.

Attendance : 10,000
Assists : Vigiani, Modesto

PARMA 1-2

JUVENTUS

Delvecchio 13

Camoranesi 44

Vieira 82

For reason's I haven't figured out a transvestite did the commentary for this match on
C5. I guess it's a change of pace from the models and dancing girls.

Parma's lumbering giant strikers combined to give their club a shock lead. Corradi
headed on a cross and Delvecchio volleyed into the net. Camoranesi equalised with
an amazing strike from 25 yards. After initially miss controlling Vieira's pass he
struck the ball with a toe poke sending it screaming into the roof of the net.
Ibrahimovic made his way towards the edge of the box and despite being faced by
two defenders he somehow managed to cross the ball between them towards the
back post where Vieira was waiting with a bullet header.

Ibrahimovic's display was so good the transvestite was reduced to tears.

Vieira should have left Arsenal two years ago, he's different class under Capello which
is ironic given it was Capello who got rid of him over a decade ago.

Attendance : 23,116
Assists : Corradi, Vieira, Ibrahimovic
