Tissone 46

De Martino 52

Di Natale 95

Doni headed on a cross, Zampagna flicked the ball between two defenders and
Tissone chipped over De Sanctis as he dived at the midfielders feet. De Martino
volleyed in the equaliser after Loria? botched up a clearance and in the fifth
minute of injury time Iaquinta turned a defender on the right flank before
sending a firm low centre into the box and Di Natale scored via a deflection off
the luckless Loria.

CAGLIARI 0-2

FIORENTINA

Toni 32, 75

Cagliari goalkeeper Fortin rushed off his line as Mutu ran in on goal and took
him out with a crazy sliding tackle, Mutu fell on the ball, it popped out and
Toni lobbed into an empty net. Fortin escaped with a yellow card. Toni out
muscled Bianco on the right flank, bulldozed his way into the box and from the
right edge of the penalty spot toe poked the ball over Fortin, super finish.

Attendance : 10,000
Assists : n/a, Liverani

CHIEVO 3-2

REGGINA

Sammarco 26

Amoruso 17

Cossato 44

Modesto 78

Tiribocchi 88

Chievo's defenders must be incredibly slow as even Amoruso managed to outrun two
of them onto Missiroli's pass before hitting a high shot over Sicignano. Obinna
received a pass from the left flank, as two defenders approached he feigned to
shoot, pushing the ball past them with his right foot before pulling it back
with his left for Sammarco to equalise. Zanchetta lobbed a cross into the box
and as the Reggina defence stood appealing for offside Cossato scrambled the
ball past Pelizzoli. Modesto almost lost his legs when a Chievo player flew in
with a studs-up challenge as charged into the box onto a loose ball and blasted
in the equaliser. Zanchetta found Tiribocchi unmarked at the back post and he
stuck a volley through Pelizzoli's legs sending Chievo 2 points clear of the
relegation zone.

Attendance : 4,596
Assists : Missiroli, Obinna, Zanchetta, n/a, Zanchetta.

INTER

Mudingayi 39 (og)

Materazzi 85

Crespo slipped as he tried to barge his way past two defenders in the box, he
managed to poke the ball towards Cambiasso as he lost his balance, Mudingayi
slid in with a heavy challenge as Cambiasso shot, Mudingayi got the last
touch and wrong footed Peruzzi who could only fumble the ball into his own net.
Materazzi out jumped Peruzzi as he foolishly ran off his line to attack a Figo
free kick and France's favourite Italian headed in his second goal of the week.

Attendance : 40,000
Red Card : Ibrahimovic 47 (Inter)
Assists : n/a, Figo (fk)

MESSINA 1-1

PARMA

Di Napoli 73

Paponi 77

Di Napoli headed Messina in front after Floccari helped on a cross. In a season
in which some truly outstanding goals have been scored, Parma's 18 year old
striker Paponi hit arguably the best of the lot. George fumbled Castellini's
speculative shot from the edge of the box and Paponi leapt in the air and met
the ball with a back heel volley AS HE TURNED, similar to the outrageous goal
scored by Biava in September only this was at a ridiculous high speed. I'll put
it on-line when I get round to the next set of video updates.

Attendance : 7,000
Assists : Floccari, n/a

MILAN 3-0

CATANIA

Kaka' 4, 88

Gilardino 83

Brocchi chipped a ball into the box, Gilardino made a ran away from goal, taking
a defender with him then pushed the ball forward to Kaka' who ran into the space
before slotting into the corner. Kaladze headed on a Gattuso cross and
Gilardino, unmarked on the penalty spot, lifted the ball over Pantanelli. Kaka'
finally scored his second of the match, having gone close on several occasions,
with firm strike from another Gilardino lay off.

Attendance : 41,232
Assists : Gilardino, Kaladze, Gilardino

PALERMO 4-0

ASCOLI

Bresciano 15

Corini 53
Tedesco 84
Capuano 92

Palermo bounced back from their thrashing at their hands of Roma by giving their
opponents a 4-0 pasting of their own. Bresciano finished off a slick move by
dropping a half volley over Pagliuca, who turned 40 on Monday. Pagliuca threw
himself across goal but failed to get a strong hand to a Corini free kick.
Tedesco headed in a cross and Capuano blasted in a fourth after Amauri drew a
save from Pagliuca.

Attendance : 19,485
Assists : Tedesco, Guana (fk), Brienza, n/a

SAMPDORIA 4-1

LIVORNO

Franceschini 25

Vigiani 12

Flachi 30 (Pen)
Quagliarella 47, 57

Vigiani gave Livorno a shock lead with a shot from 20 yards which flew into the
top right corner. Flachi got his head to a deep cross, the ball ballooned up in
the air, Bonazzoli headed it down and Franceschini volleyed past Amelia. Flachi
converted a dodgy penalty before Quagliarella continued his assault on the
scoring charts. Volpi slammed a free kick into the Livorno wall, Quagliarella
ran forward as the ball dropped and let rip with a right foot volley which
screamed into the bottom left corner of the net. He headed in his 9th goal of
the campaign from Zenoni's cross. This guy is awesome and almost certainly won't
be at Samp next season.

Attendance : 17,000
Assists : Filippini, Bonazzoli, Quagliarella (won pen), n/a, Zenoni

TORINO 1-2

ROMA

Rosina 89

Totti 38

Mancini 80

Totti missed another penalty but luckily got on the score sheet 14 minutes later
when Mancini took a shot from 25 yards and the ball clipped off right heel as he
tried to get out of the way. Totti back heeled a pass into Mancini and he used
his pace to leave the Torino defence for dead before shooting into a corner.
Balestri swung a cross into the box and 22 year old midget midfielder Rosina,
Torino's best prospect since Lentini, darted across goal and beat Doni with a
flick header.

Attendance : 22,000
Red Card : Franceschini 24 (Torino)
Assists : Mancini, Totti, Balestri
