Ibrahimovic broke a tackle in midfield before passing out wide to Adriano, he rolled the ball across the box and Stankovic slammed a first time shot into the top left corner of the net. Stankovic touched a free kick to Adriano and his low drive beat former Parma team-mate Sebastien Frey. Ibrahimovic tapped in a third after his initial effort from a Stankovic free kick appeared to have been punched out by Frey after it had crossed the line. successfully went to bat for his coach (Daniele Arrigoni) after he was sacked following the teams 5-1 thrashing by Atalanta last week (and re-instated 48 hours later) gave Livorno the lead from the penalty spot. Totti tapped in the equaliser from Wilhelmsson's centre before being sent off for aiming what can only be loosely described as a punch on Galante's shoulder after the defender caught him with a deliberate elbow to the jaw. As Totti walked off the pitch he pushed the club's personal trainer, Vito Scala, to the ground. He's almost certainly going to pick up a several match ban for that, ruling him out of Roma's clash with Inter at the San Siro in a fortnight, not that they have much chance even with Totti in the line-up. Having put five goals past Livorno last weekend Atalanta had to wait until the second half before taking the lead against rock bottom Ascoli. Brazilian right back Adriano was involved in the first three goals. Zampagna got on the end of another excellent cross from the 24 year old to head Atalanta into the lead. However Adriano was at fault for the equaliser, he tried to pass a ball out of defence with predictably disastrous consequences but made up for his blunder by heading in Tissone's corner, his first goal of the season.
