left wing cross which Perrotta flicked past De Sanctis. Totti continued his incredible
scoring run with his 18th league goal, a glancing header from a De Rossi free kick.
Doni was beaten for the first time in 589 minutes (a new club record) when Asamoah

Cruz 54

Ronaldo 40

Ibrahimovic 75

Ronaldo collected a pass from Gattuso and ran at Maxwell in slow motion, the
defender backed off and Ronaldo caught Julio Cesar, and everyone else, by
surprise with a precise left foot shot into the bottom corner. Another in a long
line of mistakes from the formerly great Dida gave Inter the equaliser.
Ibrahimovic burned Maldini before hitting a low centre into the box, Dida should
have held the ball with ease but fumbled leaving Cruz with a gaping net, 1-1.
Jankulovski, who has been Milan's best defender by far this season, messed up a
clearance under pressure from Cruz and the striker pulled the ball back for
Ibrahimovic to tap in the winner.

PALERMO 1-1

FIORENTINA

Cavani 71

Mutu 34

pass from a team-mate in midfield. Mutu got possession and Zaccardo stopped
playing waiting for the ref to blow his whistle, he didn't and Mutu run into the
penalty area, worked an opening and shot into a corner. An incensed Guidolin was
sent off for his protests before getting into a heated argument with Fiorentina's
Cesare Prandelli. Zaccardo followed his coach into the dressing rooms for a second
bookable offence. 19 year old Cavani, a €5 million January arrival from Danubio,
saved Palermo's faltering season with a magnificent volley from the right hand edge
of the penalty box. Another goal that will inevitably draw comparisons with
Van Basten's 1988 European Championship final strike.
