ATALANTA 4 (Langella 19, Doni 27, Padoin 78, Padoin 85)
EMPOLI 1 (Vannucchi 83)

Belleri swung a cross to the back post as an Empoli defender was confused by the bounce Langella ran from behind to head past Bassi. Floccari held up a ball for his captain to smash in the second. Padoin, one of the few successes from that dreadful Revenge of the Sith movie, scored his first Serie A goal from a Floccari pass. Vannucchi, who has really showed his age this season, pulled down a high ball, turned and fired past Coppola before Padoin arrived at the back post to tap in his second.

Collecting a pass from Santana on the edge of the D he hit a high return ball over the Genoa defence and Santana flicked a volley past Scarpi. Pazzini laid off a Montolivo cross for the Romanian to rifle home his 15th goal of the season. Genoa's poor attempts at playing offside let in Pazzini for a third. Masiero scored a late consolation goal.

INTER 2 (Vieira 5, Jimenez 36)
PALERMO 1 (Materazzi 25 og)

Vieri was allowed to run unopposed into the Palermo half and played a one-two with Ibrahimovic on the edge of the box heading the Swede's exquisite first time pass over former Inter bench warmer Jimmy Fontana. Materazzi just can't stay out of the news. Julio Cesar fumbled a Miccoli drive, Simplicio whacked the rebound against Julio Cesar and the ball bounced off Materazzi's chest into an empty net. Jimenez quickly restored Inter's lead. Zanetti floated a cross into Maicon, he centred and as a defender threw himself at the ball Jimenez calmly stepped away, brought the ball onto his right foot and shot into the corner.

LIVORNO 1 (Vidigal 41)
PARMA 1 (Reginaldo 60)

Vidigal tried his luck from the edge of the box and despite getting a touch midget Bucci wasn't tall enough to stop the ball hitting the back of the net. Brazilian Reginaldo scored a brilliant equaliser. Lucarelli touched back a cross, Reginaldo jumped in the air and hit a deft right foot volley wide of Amelia.

REGGINA 4 (Brienza 9, Cozza 19 fk, Brienza 39, Missiroli 68)
SIENA 0

Brienza began this surprise rout when he turned in a deflected shot. Cozza curled a free kick over a lame four man wall. More poor set piece defending allowed Reggina to take an unassailable three goal lead. Cozza hit a deep free kick towards the back post and Bertotto's sensational goal-line clearance was in vain as Brienza followed up to plunder his second. With the Siena defence distracted by Amoruso Modesto hit a cross over to the back post for the onrushing Missiroli to slot in a fourth.

Vargas set up the equaliser with a strong run down the left, Stovini meeting his cross with a bullet header. Accardi put the Blucerchiati back in front from a corner. Bellucci cut in from the left and beat Bizzarri on his left post to complete a miserable second half for the visitors.

LAZIO 2 (Rocchi 12, Ledesma 80)

Ledesma's deflected cross wrong footed Felipe and as he turned he slipped and deflected the ball to it's intended target Rocchi, he ran at goal and feigned to shoot, sending Handanovic crashing to the turf then tapped into an empty net. Ferronetti equalised from a corner before Ledesma looked to have won the points with a fantastically powerful right footed shot. Four minutes from time Di Natale flicked Mesto's pass away from Cribari giving himself time to work an opening and sweep the ball into the corner.

ROMA 2 (Giuly 78, Vucinic 81)
MILAN 1 (Kaka' 56)

Doni made excellent saves from Kaka' and Seedorf before Mr Golden Ball gave Milan a deserved lead. Pirlo released Oddo with a great pass down the right channel and he got to the by-line before pulled back for Kaka' to volley past Doni. Pato sent Seedorf clean through on goal but his poor attempt to round Doni allowed the goalkeeper to get a touch and he lost his balance, Cicinho got back to clear off the line. Pato was next to go round Doni but threw himself over the 'keeper instead of taking another step and shooting into an empty net earning a deserved yellow. Milan failed to deal with a Cicinho cross and after a spot of pinball Perrotta chipped the ball across for Giuly to acrobatically volley past Kalac. Kaladze's wretched season continued. De Rossi hit a pass deep from his own half towards the box, Kaladze stood still appealing for offside and Vucinic ran through to hit the winner. Paloschi and the useless Gilardino missed late chances to equalise.

Assists : Oddo, Perrotta, De Rossi
