Juventus vs Parma was suspended after 27 year old Parma supporter, Matteo Bagnaresi, was run over by a bus carrying Juventus supporters.

"Matteo was near to the rear tyres of the minibus and was hit when it went into reverse. The driver did not see or realise what had happened. We tried shouting at him to stop but he was probably afraid and thought we were threatening him so he drove off."

CATANIA 1 (Spinesi 3)
TORINO 2 (Diana 5, Di Michele 63)

Spinesi headed Catania into a third minute lead but Torino hit back immediately when Recoba (remember him?) found Diana unmarked by a Catania defence distracted by Rosina and he side footed past Polito. From here on in the visitors dominated and should have been out of sight long before Di Michele punished a mistake by Jimmy Fontana to score the winner.

Attendance : 16,000
Assists : Mascara (ck), Recoba, Rosina

EMPOLI 0
SAMPDORIA 2 (Sammarco 7, Marzoratti 16 og)

Sammarco carried the ball from the half way line and beat a poorly positioned Bassi with a low drive. Empoli, who must be close to giving Malesani the chop, were done on a counter attack though the play should have been called back immediately because Vannucchi ran over an Empoli player to win possession. Vannucchi passed out wide to Franceschini he swung a cross over to Bonazzoli, Bonazzoli chipped the ball to the back post, Franceschini headed down and Marzoratti got the final touch when trying to clear.

Own goals by Marzoratti and Ferrari this week.

GENOA 2 (Borriello 59, Rossi 92)
REGGINA 0

Marco Di Vaio had two first half efforts cleared off the line. Borriello scored his 18th goal of the season after Campagnolo failed to hold a speculative effort from Rossi. Genoa survived a Reggina fight-back before Rossi made sure of the points with a lovely strike from 20 yards.

MILAN 1 (Maldini 85)
ATALANTA 2 (Floccari 32, Langella 42)

Tissone sent Pinto free down the left, I'm guessing Favalli should have been covering, Floccari's first time shot forced a great save from Kalac but the ball ballooned up in the air and Floccari was first to the rebound. Floccari was also involved in Atalanta's second. He brilliantly pulled down a longball and drove towards the penalty area as Nesta backed off, he passed out wide to Langella, he skipped over a tackle from Oddo, who is having a disastrous campaign, before drilling past Kalac. Doni should have made it 0-3 at the start of the second half. Maldini pulled a goal back from a corner. Nesta was sent off for dissent and two minute later the ref pointed to the spot after Ambrosini was fouled but Pirlo's spot kick was superbly saved by Coppola.

Despite the fact Fiorentina keep dropping points their four point cushion should be enough to see off Milan for fourth place and given Milan's supposed targets should they qualify for the Champions League (Shevchenko and Drogba) it's probably best they fail and, like Bayern, are forced to hit the reset button.

Attendance : 50,000
Red Card : Nesta (87)

UDINESE 3 (Inler 13, Di Natale 72, Quagliarella 77)
FIORENTINA 1 (Vieri 63)

Quagliarella turned onto a cross and as he shot the ball bounced off a defender to the edge of the box falling invitingly for Inler to crash a left foot drive past Frey. Pazzini flicked on a cross for Vieri to expertly steer past Handanovic. Inler released Di Natale with a superb volleyed pass over the top of the Fiorentina defence and he left them in his wake before thumping past Frey. Quagliarella scored at the second attempt after his initial effort, a header from a Dossena's cross, was saved.

Attendance : 22,000

NAPOLI 1 (Hamsik 92)
PALERMO

Attendance : 47,000

CAGLIARI 1 (Ferrari 2 og)
ROMA 1 (Totti 45 fk)

Ferrari gave a Cagliari side boosted by winning their appeal against a three point deduction for taking a player to court a dream start from a corner. Mancini missed two sitters before Totti equalised on half time with powerfully struck low free kick which bounced past Storari in the Cagliari goal. Roma lead siege to the Cagliari goal in the second half but Storari denied the Giallorossi a deserved victory with two fantastic point blank saves.

Attendance : 22,000
Assists : n/a, Pizzaro (won fk)

LAZIO 1 (Rocchi 59)
INTER 1 (Crespo 10)

Maicon chipped a pass into Stankovic, Behrami and another Lazio defender were sucked in as the Serbian international returned the Brazilian's pass leaving him with a free run into the box and former Lazio striker Crespo turned in his centre. Ledesma hit a fantastic long ball over Maicon and Burdisso whose poor attempts at playing offside left Rocchi in the clear to score the equaliser. Lazio hit the woodwork twice, Julio Cesar tipped Behrami's deflected effort on the crossbar and was a spectator when multiple reject Dabo unleashed a stunning drive which cannoned in off the underside of the bar.

Despite a healthy attendance the crowd were dead, you'd find more atmosphere in a library. These running tracks have to go, who gives a shit about athletics anyway?

Attendance : 50,000
Assists : Maicon, Ledesma
