LECCE 1 (Esposito 93)
MILAN 1 (Ronaldinho 79)

Within a minute of replacing the dire Borriello, who missed a good half dozen chances, Pato burst down the right and crossed for Ronaldinho to give Milan a deserved lead. They threw away two points in injury time when Esposito got in front of Inzaghi to head in a free kick awarded for a foul by Ancelotti's pet Emerson, who replaced Ronaldinho.

Having taken four years to top Serie A Milan blow their lead in a week.

Attendance : 29,658
Assists : Pato, Zanchetta

CATANIA 2 (Mascara 37, Sabato 86 fk)
CAGLIARI 1 (Jeda 6)

Jeda headed the visitors into an early lead from a corner. Mascara equalised with a grasscutter which slowly crept into the bottom right corner. Bianco climbed on Plasmati to concede a free kick on the edge of the box. Sabato fired a shot through a porous wall to give Catania their first win in four games.

Attendance : 17,000
Assists : Cossu (ck), Tedesco, Plasmati (won fk)

CHIEVO 0
JUVENTUS 2 (Del Piero 40 fk, Iaquinta 54)

Del Piero scored his THIRD free kick of the week and fifth in the season overall. Iaquinta saw his poorly struck penalty saved but he converted the rebound.

You have to hand it to Ranieri. Juve are still without Buffon, and no one knows when he will return, and Trezeguet will be out for most of the season yet there's only three points off top spot.

Attendance : 26,578
Assists : Del Piero (won fk), n/a

FIORENTINA 2 (Felipe Melo 20, Gilardino 23)
ATALANTA 1 (Floccari 76 Pen)

Much travelled Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo scored his first Serie A with a low drive from 25 yards which embarrassed slow reacting Atalanta goalkeeper Coppola, who probably expected the ball to flash wide of his left post. Jovetic tried to weave his way through the Atalanta defence from the left and the ball deflected to Gilardino who tapped in his 8th goal of the season. Floccari converted a soft penalty called for handball.

Attendance : 27,884

GENOA 4 (Milito 54 Pen, Milito 74, Sculli 81, Milito 89)
REGGINA 0

The first 45 minutes were largely uneventful with both sides shooting inaccurately from distance. Costa attempted a sliding tackle on Biava, he missed the ball completely and also missed Biava who theatrically fell to the ground, conning the ref into dismissing the defender. Genoa's penalty was equally dubious. Milito headed in his second after Biava flicked on a corner. Milito setup Sculli for the third on the break and recovered from a heavy touch to scramble in a last minute goal and complete his first Serie A hat-trick.

Attendance : 25,000
Red Card : Costa 46 (Reggina)
Assists : Gasbarroni (won pen), Biava, Milito, Juric

INTER 1 (Cruz 92)
UDINESE 0

Attendance : 50,000

LAZIO 3 (Zarate 58 fk, Rocchi 86, Rocchi 93)
SIENA 0

Zarate broke the deadlock with a free kick struck with such velocity, dip and swerve it was hard to make out what happened to the ball as it flew over the Siena wall. Zarate had a hand in both of Rocchi's goals. His cross from the right was swept in by the 31 year old striker and in injury time he floored Curci with a stinging right foot drive, Curci recovered brilliantly to deny Lichtsteiner on the follow up before the Swiss full back unselfishly gave Rocchi a pass for his second.

Attendance : 30,100
Assists : Rocchi (fk), Zarate, Lichtsteiner

NAPOLI 2 (Mannini 23, Zalayeta 74)
SAMPDORIA 0

Denis played a ball out wide to Lavezzi before continuing his run towards the box, the Samp defence were outnumbered 3-4 and failed to pick up Mannini as he slid the Argentinean's centre in at the back post. Two Sampdoria players collided when challenging for a ball, Lavezzi ran into the box and his shot clipped off the heels of a defender and substitute Zalayeta tapped in at the back post.

Attendance : 50,000
Assists : Lavezzi, n/a

BOLOGNA 1 (Cicinho 91 og)
ROMA 1 (Totti 68)

Totti marked his 400th league game for Roma with a goal. He read the bounce on a slack clearance to beat Antonioli at his near post. Cicinho met Di Vaio's injury time cross with a spectacular diving header.

This was Mihajlovic's debut as a coach. Let's see what he learned under Mancini. Despite the late own goal this was the first point Roma have picked up on their travels this season.
