ATALANTA 3 (Adriano 62, Gargano 89 og, Floccari 91)
NAPOLI 1 (Hamsik 73 Pen)

Adriano dropped two players in the box and ended his slalom run with a punishing drove past Iezzo. Manfredini chopped down Lavezzi to concede the equalising penalty. Atalanta were furious with referee Brighi for his failure to award them what looked a nailed on penalty for Maggio's foul on Jamie Valdes. Coach Luigi Del Neri was sent to the stands. This injustice inspired the home side. Manfredini restored their lead with a deflected free kick. Adriano set-up Atalanta's third on the break with a surging run up the right flank, Floccari slid in to convert the Brazilian's center.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Cards : Zalayeta 67 (Napoli), Manfredini 90 (Atalanta)
Assists : Doni, Lavezzi (won pen), n/a, Adriano

CAGLIARI 1 (Acquafresca 31 Pen)
FIORENTINA 0

Attendance : 10,000

CATANIA 3 (Mascara 8, Mascara 39 fk, Mascara 80)
TORINO 2 (Colombo 6, Amoruso 50 Pen)

Colombo volleyed Torino into the lead from Rubin's cross. Mascara tapped in an immediate equaliser before giving Zenga's side the lead with a superb free kick. From a central position about 30 yards from goal his right foot shot sailed over the wall before dipping right into the bottom left corner. Is it just me or has scoring from free kicks become a lot more common across Europe this season? Amoruso put his penalty into the same corner early in the second half. Diver Tedesco resisted the temptation to throw himself over Diana when the defender/midfielder jumped into a tackle, he got the by-line and rolled the ball across goal for Mascara to complete his hat-trick.

Attendance : 18,000
Assists : Rubin, Paolucci, Paolucci (won fk), Colombo (won pen), Tedesco

MILAN 1 (Kaka' 15 Pen)
CHIEVO 0

SAMPDORIA 3 (Del Vecchio 11, Cassano 15, Stankevicius 61)
LECCE 2 (Tiribocchi 55, Tiribocchi 82)

Del Vecchio (that's how it's written on his shirt) headed Samp into the lead against his former club from Padalino's fantastic right wing cross and ran over to the fans before raising his hand as if to apologise. Cassano marked his 200th Serie A appearance with an almost impudent lob from outside the box. Tiribocchi headed Lecce back into the match from Caccia's cross, seconds after Samp should have been awarded a free kick for a foul on Cassano. Sampdoria's Lithuanian international defender Marius Stankevicius restored his teams two goal cushion with a tremendous header from the edge of the box. Caserta's speculative shot smacked team-mate Tiribocchi in the face, the striker turned away just in time to avoid a bloody nose, the ball landed at his feet and he scored his fourth goal of the season.

Attendance : 22,100
Assists : Padalino, Del Vecchio, Caccia, Accardi (fk), Caserta

SIENA 1 (Ghezzal 22)
BOLOGNA 1 (Di Vaio 47 Pen)

Ghezzal headed Siena into the lead from Codrea's superb cross. Bologna survived Maccarone's claims for a penalty before getting one in first half injury time when Del Grosso tripped Marchini. Di Vaio sent Curci the wrong way. The same can't be said for Calaio who shot a 77th minute penalty wide of the right post. This was doubly ironic as Calaio had replaced regular penalty taker Maccarone who had been booked for simulation after diving in each half.

Attendance : 9,500
Assists : Codrea, Marchini (won pen)

UDINESE 0
REGGINA 1 (Brienza 60)

There was a minutes silence for former Udinese fullback Regis Genaux who died earlier this month aged just 35 due to heart failure.

Attendance : 14,000
Assist : Cozza

ROMA 1 (Baptista 50)
LAZIO 0

Totti worked a short corner with De Rossi before crossing into the box and Baptista's header, which was more of a flick-on given the angle, bounced into the bottom corner. Lazio dominated thereafter. Zarate forced the clown Doni into a great one handed save and Pandev saw an effort roll wide of the left post. Ledesma, not a dirty play by any means, was shown a second yellow for going through Baptista from behind yet Lazio continued to threaten. Pandev exchanged passes with Rocchi on the edge of the box but shot straight at Doni. Menez replaced Totti with 15 minutes to go and should have finished off Lazio on a counter attack. Perrotta was shown a second yellow for a late foul on Rozenhal. He got to his feet, shook hands with the ref and walked off. Absolute class. Lichtsteiner wasted a brilliant Zarate cross and Roma hung on to claim a precious three points and continue their recent good form.

Attendance : 63,000
Red Cards : Ledesma 66 (Lazio), Perrotta 86 (Roma)
Assist : Cozza

PALERMO 0
INTER 2 (Ibrahimovic 46, Ibrahimovic 62 fk)

This was one of those games in which Ibrahimovic gave the fraudulent impression that he's the best player in the World. In the first minute of the second half standing near the right hand side of the penalty area he fired a shot at goal, the ball swung away before flying in off the left post. His second was a glorious free kick which thundered into the net.

Attendance : 34,203
Assists : Cruz, Ibrahimovic (won fk)

JUVENTUS 4 (Grygera 6, Amauri 26, Iaquinta 85, Papastathopoulos 92 og)
GENOA 1 (Milito 88 Pen)

Grygera ran into the box from the right and with everyone expecting a centre took advantage to fire low into the bottom left corner. Amauri headed in the Czech's cross to put Juve 2-0 up. Del Piero was off target with two free kicks but played in Iaquinta for the third. Milito scored his 10th goal of the season from the penalty spot. Papastathopoulos completed the rout when he turned Camoranesi's centre past Rubinho.

This match was played on Thursday due to a Rugby international. The Italians must be getting serious about that sport. Juve are in fine form ahead of what threatens to be an epic match against Inter at the San Siro.

Attendance : 24,463
Assists : Del Piero, Grygera, Del Piero, n/a, n/a
