CAGLIARI 3 (Nene 33, Nene 36, Matri 46 Pen)
ATALANTA 0

Italy's U21 goalkeeper Consigli made a feeble attempt to punch out Cossu's corner and Nene rose above him to head the Sardinians into the lead. The duo combined successfully again three minutes later, Cossu crossed from the left and Nene pulled clear of his marker to volley past Consigli. Matri's penalty ended a miserable first half for the visitors.

FIORENTINA 3 (Marchionni 4, Marchionni 69, Gilardino 86)
CATANIA 1 (Mascara 48)

Marchionni blasted Fiorentina into the lead with a left foot shot from just inside the box. Dainelli was shown a ludicrous yellow card. Mascara, who doesn't do tap-ins, beat Frey all ends up with punishing strike from 25 yards. Catania were threatening to score a second until Capuano's dismissal. Marchionni restored Fiorentina's lead from De Silvestri's cut back and the highly rated former Lazio full back also made Fiorentina's third with a centre to Gilardino.

JUVENTUS 2 (Trezeguet 35, Giovinco 54)
NAPOLI 3 (Hamsik 59, Datolo 64, Hamsik 81)

Camoranesi was substituted after half an hour following a clash of heads with Contini that left him a bloody mess, with the red stuff flowing like tap water. Trezeguet headed in a superb Grygera cross. The Frenchman also had a hand in the second, Contini inexplicably headed his cross (why Trezeguet was crossing to Power Ranger Giovinco is anyone's guess) straight to Giovinco who duly scored his first goal of the season. Datalo began another remarkable comeback for Napoli within a minute of replacing of Campagnaro, his deflected cross was turned in by Hamsik at the back post then he tapped in the equaliser after Buffon parried a Denis header. Tiago threw away the points with a horrendous clearance which Hamsik blasted into the roof of Buffon's net.

Juve are now a massive seven points behind Inter and it's only November.

Attendance : 20,000
Red Card : Amauri 93 (Juventus)

MILAN 2 (Borriello 12, Borriello 93)
PARMA 0

Pirlo tackled Bojinov on the edge of the Milan penalty area and passed out wide to Ronaldinho, he carried the ball 60 yards infield, rolled a pass between two defenders to Borriello who took a touch before shooting between Mirante's legs. Ronaldinho made the second with a marvellous piece of skill. Cutting in from the left, he bamboozled two defenders with stepovers, performed his trademark elastico to bring the ball from his left foot onto his right and chipped a cross into the box and Borriello volleyed the ball into the ground and over Mirante.

Is Ronaldinho really back? We'll find out on Tuesday.
