INTER 1 (Eto'o 48)
ROMA 1 (Vucinic 13)

Marco Motta launched a longball into the Inter box and Vucinic got above Lucio to head over a poorly positioned Julio Cesar. Roma's young defenders, Andreolli and Marco Motta, blew chances to clear a Maicon cross, Thiago Motta rolled the ball through Faty's legs to Eto'o who turned and fired an instant shot past Julio Sergio. Inter failed to build and the match petered out into a boring draw after a promising first half.

Muntari and Vieira should have been sent off, Muntari three times. He stamped on Faty, tripped Menez and when he was booked for a foul on Marco Motta he grabbed hold of the ref's hand as he reached into his pocket. He should be hit with a three match ban. Vieira elbowed Menez.

BOLOGNA 3 (Zalayeta 42, Zalayeta 50, Di Vaio 93)
PALERMO 1 (Kjaer 45)

Zalayeta capitalised on a Kjaer slip to give Bologna the lead from a corner. The great Dane made amends by tapping in the equaliser from Miccoli's free kick but his centre back partner, Migliaccio, failed to get tight on Zalayeta, allowing him to turn and shoot past Sirigu. Di Vaio finished off a disappointing Palermo on the break, Kjaer got back to clear off the line but gave the ball straight back to veteran striker and this time he blasted it low into the left corner.

CAGLIARI 2 (Conti 85, Matri 89)
SAMPDORIA 0

Cagliari were the better side even before Stankevicius was shown a red card for bringing down Jeda. The overworked Castelazzi was finally beaten on 85 minutes. Agostini hammered a volley into the ground and Conti threw himself at the ball to head into the corner. Four minutes later Conti flicked on a corner and Matri flicked a header past Castelazzi.

Sampdoria's slide down the table continued as they suffered a second defeat in three games. They've only one won of their last six games and slipped from first to fifth. The wheels have come off in spectacular fashion.

Red Card : Stankevicius 42 (Sampdoria)

GENOA 4 (Crespo 2, Crespo 18, Palladino 35, Floccari 90)
SIENA 2 (Paolucci 80, Maccarone 82)

Palacio headed a cross against a post and Crespo smacked in the rebound. The duo repeated the trick 16 minutes later, Curci spilled a Palacio effort and Crespo tapped in his third goal of the season. With all eyes on Crespo, Palladino took advantage to tap in Palacio's deflected centre. When Scarpi fumbled from Paolucci it appeared to be nothing but a consolation goal but two minutes later Genoa failed to clear their lines from a corner and Maccarone thundered a left foot volley inside the left post, 2-3. Floccari ended Siena's comeback hopes from the edge of the box as Siena appealed for offside.

LAZIO 1 (Thiago Silva 64 og)
MILAN 2 (Thiago Silva 21, Pato 35)

Thiago Silva finally scored his first Milan goal, heading in a poorly defended Pirlo free kick. Nesta was lucky not to see red for hacking down Zarate. Pato made poor contact with a brilliant Ronaldinho cross but the bounce took the ball past Muslera. Zarate attempted a shot 25 yards from goal, the ball struck Oddo and Thiago Silva inadvertently turned it into his own net. Muslera made brilliant saves from Flamini and Pato as Milan saw out the match in the teaming rain more comfortably than the scoreline suggests.

The glorious football of the Ancelotti era is gone. Leonardo's Milan play the percentages and are more reliant on set pieces and crosses. Milan have been buying up talented youngsters almost unnoticed, how long it will be before we see Berretta, Zigoni, Adiyiah and Albertazzi in the senior squad, IF we see them in the senior squad, is anyone's guess.

Attendance : 34,000

PARMA 2 (Zaccardo 41, Lanzafame 72)
CHIEVO 0

Lucarelli's speculative shot took a deflection off a Chievo player, falling kindly for Wolfsburg flop Zaccardo who took one touch before side footing into the bottom left corner. Elvis Abbruscato headed a corner against the crossbar, Dzemaili nutmegged a defender on the edge of the box as he gathered the rebound, ran 50 yards, played a ball out wide to substitute Lanzafame who was left with a gaping net after Sorrentino made an unnecessary rush off his line. Great counter attacking goal.

ATALANTA 2 (Valdes 51, Ceravolo 71)
JUVENTUS 5 (Camoranesi 36, Camoranesi 37, Felipe Melo 55, Diego 85, Trezeguet 88)

Camoranesi headed Juve into the lead against the run of play and less than a minute later curled in a second after Atalanta failed to clear Grosso's centre. Guarante split the Juve defence with a fantastic pass, Valdes held off Caceres and shot through Buffon's legs, 1-2. Melo intercepted a poor headed clearance on the edge of the box and rifled a shot past Consigli. Ceravolo checked inside Grosso and curled a shot beyond Buffon but two quick goals ended Atalanta's hopes of a comeback. Diego poked in a deflected centre and Trezeguet smashed in a historic fifth, his 167th goal in a Juve shirt which takes him level with the great Omar Sivori on Juve's all time leading goalscorers list and 21 behind the leader Del Piero.
