ATALANTA 3 (Doni 5, Doni 9, Padoin 35)
LAZIO 0

Floccari endured a miserable return to his old club. Doni headed in a Guarante free kick and doubled Atalanta's lead four minutes later. Guarante collected a throw in and chipped the ball to Tiribocchi, he flicked it up and Doni volleyed past Muslera. Padoin scored a brilliant third, curling the ball first time in off a post from a Doni pass.

Lazio started the last decade as Champions. They've began this one just above the relegation zone.

Attendance : 10,000
Assists : Guarante (fk), Tiribocchi, Doni

CHIEVO 1 (Sardo 33)
JUVENTUS 0

Sardo intercepted a poor clearance by De Ceglie, dribbled past him and from 25 yards hit a low shot which bounced into the bottom left corner of Buffon's net. That SHOULD be the goal that sacks Ferrara but Juve won't meet Hiddink's contract demands and that's why he's not already on their bench.

Attendance : 21,132
Assist : n/a

FIORENTINA 1 (Mutu 51)
BOLOGNA 2 (Gimenez 28, Di Vaio 45)

Under pressure from Di Vaio, Gobbi headed on a cross and Gimenez went airborne to scissor kick into the net, via a deflection. Gimenez turned onto a pass and hit a brilliant first time lob over the Fiorentina defence and Di Vaio raced clear and lobbed over Frey as he ran off his line. Mutu headed in a Vargas cross but despite a much improved second half performance couldn't find a way past Viviano.

Attendance : 24,913
Assists : n/a, Gimenez, Vargas

MILAN 4 (Ronaldinho 12 Pen, Borriello 28, Ronaldinho 72, Ronaldinho 90)
SIENA 0

Borriello chased down a longball and robbed a defender as he tried to shepard the ball to Curci, Curci dived at Borriello's feet, clipped his right foot and the striker went over. It was penalty but a red card was harsh. Minutes after Abate denied Maccarone an equaliser with an excellent tackle Borriello made it 2-0. Pirlo swung a crossfield pass into the box and Borriello adjusted his body to score a FANTASTIC left foot volley from wide left of goal.

Ronaldinho tormented the Siena defence. He drifted in from the left, destroyed a defender with stepovers, suddenly brought the ball onto his left foot, turned as the 'keeper dived at his feet, lobbed the ball with his right but Pegolo denied him with a reaction save. Siena's reserve goalkeeper denied him for a second time with a fingertip save from a low curling shot that was headed for the inside post. Ronaldinho climbed above a defender to head in a Beckham corner. He beat a defender as he cut inside the box with his trademark elastico (aka flip flap) and dinked a lob which flew across goal and bounced out after catching the inside of the right post. Dida is another Brazilian legend who has restored his reputation, he denied Calaio with a stunning point blank save, leaping in the air, he used his thigh to clear. The Milan defence switched off after building up a commanding lead, as they did last week, and Dida was called into action again as Maccarone ran in on goal and threw himself to the ground as the giant goalkeeper dived at his feet. Dida protested his innocence and the ref correctly gave Maccarone a yellow card for simulation. This was an excellent piece of officiating because it looked a clear penalty in real-time. On the 90th minute Ronaldinho scored THE goal Berlusconi and everyone at Milan had been waiting for since he joined in 2008. He baited a defender, did a couple of small dragbacks then suddenly knocked the ball to his right and sent a shot screaming into the top corner. His first Milan hat-trick capped an enchanting performance.

Over the past few months I've been asking a rhetorical question, is Ronaldinho back? I think it's safe to say he's definitely back. Now for Inter.

Attendance : 35,958
Red Card : Curci 10 (Siena)

ROMA 3 (Perrotta 17, Toni 45, Toni 60)
GENOA 0

Perrotta scored following a goalmouth scramble. Toni, who will lead the attack in Totti's absence, played like the Euro 2008 Toni for the first 44 minutes then on the stroke of half time he held off his marker to turn in Vucinic's centre. On the hour mark he got above two defenders and met Vucinic's free kick with a brilliant header.

This was more like the old Luca Toni. Surprisingly at club level over the past 7 seasons (excluding one year in Serie B) he's maintained a more than 1 goal every 2 game average.

Attendance : 33,000
Assists : n/a, Vucinic, Vucinic (fk)

SAMPDORIA 1 (Pazzini 45 Pen)
CATANIA 1 (Llame 13)

Llame gave Catania the lead against the run of play with a spectacular left footed free kick, his first in Serie A. Silvestre body locked Pazzini to prevent him from defying gravity and he inevitably crashed to the ground as he tried to jump for a cross. Pazzini converted to score his 9th goal of the season. He should be hitting 20.

Attendance : 22,000
Assists : Mascara (won fk), Pazzini (won pen)

CAGLIARI 3 (Larrivey 3, Larrivey 49, Jeda 63)
LIVORNO 0

Larrivey headed down a free kick and as De Lucia backtracked the ball bounced through his legs. De Lucia embarrassed himself further when he ran 35 yards off his line and blocked Matri with an admittedly excellent tackle only he left his goal exposed and Larrivey sent a lob sailing over his head into the empty net. Jeda scored within seconds of replacing Matri, heading in Lazzari's cross.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Cossu (fk), n/a, Lazzari

BARI 2 (Barreto 60 Pen, Barreto 63 Pen)
INTER 2 (Pandev 69, Milito 74 Pen)

Samuel blocked a Meggiorini cross with his right hand to concede the first penalty and Lucio chopped down Parisi to concede the second. He went to Julio Cesar's right on both occasions. Pandev opened his Inter account with a gift of a goal, Balotelli's speculative long range shot took two deflections off Bari players and landed at his feet, Milito, who was standing offside, waved him on to score. Bonucci floored Pandev to concede the third penalty of the match.

Attendance : 51,855
