Red Card : Rigoni 77 (Chievo)

BOLOGNA 1 (Busce 50)
JUVENTUS 2 (Diego 4, Candreva 66)

The normally excellent Viviano spilled Diego's tame shot, saved at the feet of Amauri but Diego tapped in the rebound. Both teams hit the woodwork in a surprisingly entertaining first half. Raggi made the equaliser with an excellent cross to the back post, Busce shot against the post but his momentum carried him and the ball into the net. Both teams made substitutions on 61 minutes, Candreva came on for Diego and Gimenez replaced Adailton. Gimenez should have put Bologna in the lead but after running onto Zalayeta's back heel he rounded Buffon and shot against a post. Candreva proved to be more clinical three minutes later when he swept a Del Piero pass into the bottom corner. Raggi was sent off for kicking Melo.

Three wins in seven days for Zaccheroni. The next two weeks are going to be very interesting - they're at home to Palermo then away at Fiorentina.

Attendance : 26,259
Red Card : Raggi 90 (Bologna)
Assists : n/a, Raggi, Del Piero

CAGLIARI 2 (Lazzari 6, Matri 39)
PARMA 0

Cagliari created three chances in the opening six minutes and took one of them though Parma's goalkeeper Mirante was to blame for letting Lazzari's centre beat him at his near post. Matri headed in Cagliari's second from Nene's cross.

Cagliari could have been six goals up at half time. Parma haven't won since December. At one stage they were 4th now they're in mid-table.

Attendance : 15,000
Assists : Matri, Nene

FIORENTINA 2 (Vargas 63, Gilardino 78)
LIVORNO 1 (Rivas 36 fk)

Fiorentina fell behind after dominating the half. Frey was beaten by Rivas' low free kick, a shocking wall didn't help but he should have parried the ball for a corner. More woeful finished followed before Vargas showed his team-mates how it's down with an absolute CRACKERJACK of a left foot shot which crashed into the back of the Livorno net, via a deflection. Rivas was shown a second yellow for verbal abuse. Gilardino headed in the winner from a brilliant Vargas cross.

Vargas, Sneijder and Ronaldinho are the best three players in Serie A.

Attendance : 24,997
Red Card : Rivas 67 (Livorno)
Assists : Tavano (won fk), n/a, Vargas

PALERMO 3 (Hernandez 1, Miccoli 28 Pen, Nocerino 75)
LAZIO 1 (Kolarov 79)

Parma's teen sensation Abel Hernandez scored inside a minute. With a brilliant first touch he pulled down Nocerino's long ball, turned his marker and fired inside the left post. On 28 minutes Miccoli ran onto a through ball, sold Muslera with a dummy and as he went round dived to win a penalty. He's a great player but a dirty little cheat. Simplicio was fouled as he tried to collect a Liverani pass, the ball broke to Budan who, standing in an offside position, cleverly left it for Nocerino on the overlap, Nocerino clear of a Lazio defence playing an insane high line, rounded Muslera and tapped into an empty net. Kolarov scored a brilliant consolation goal with a thumping drive from 25 yards.

There isn't a great deal of quality in this Lazio side but Kolarov is one of the players you'd expect to see leave the club at the end of the season. Inter have been linked. Let's hope they don't get him. He would look good in red and black.

Attendance : 23,104
Assists : Nocerino, Miccoli (won pen), n/a, Zarate

ROMA 1 (Vucinic 18)
CATANIA 0

Attendance : 30,449

BARI 0
MILAN 2 (Borriello 43, Pato 67)

Borriello gave Milan the lead against an extremely negative Bari side with a trademark volley. Ronaldinho, the best passer in the World, made the goal with a fantastic cross, Borriello connected with a left foot scissor kick into the bottom corner. Pato, who had an awful game, smacked in a rebound after Ronaldinho drew a save from Gillet then gave away a soft penalty when he tapped Masiello on the ankle but Abbiati made a brilliant save down to his right. Dida, sitting on the bench, did not look best pleased.

Attendance : 60,000
Assists : Ronaldinho, n/a

GENOA 3 (Acquafresca 30, Acquafresca 53 Pen, Palacio 64)
UDINESE 0

Acquafresca was back in a Genoa shirt after a disastrous spell at Atalanta and back amongst the goals. He pounced on a rebound after Handanovic saved from Sculli and his second was from the penalty spot. Zapata talked himself into a second yellow and Palacio completed a handsome victory with a spectacular diving header.

Attendance : 26,000
Red Card : Zapata 57 (Udinese)
Assists : n/a, Acquafresca, Sculli

INTER 0
SAMPDORIA 0

Samuel should have been sent off for a shocking foul on Pozzi. He escaped with a yellow then got a second for an apparent last man foul on Pozzi who dived under minimal contact, much to the annoyance of his team-mates. Cordoba got a yellow for charging down a free kick and Pazzini was booked for a deliberate trip on substitute Lucio. Shortly after this Mourinho made a handcuffs gesture by crossing his wrists with closed fists. Pozzi ran into Cordoba and went flying, rolling around the turf, Cordoba was shown a second yellow. Pozzi is a former Milan player and that's the only explanation I can come up with for his antics in this match. Eto'o was booked for diving in the box and got into a heated exchange with the ref, Tagliavento, which was extremely brave given how he officiated this match. Pazzini was shown a second yellow for tripping Stankovic. Storari denied 9 man Inter a win with a brilliant point blank save on Eto'o.

Inter issued a press silence and Mourinho was given a three match ban for his handcuffs gesture. Lega Calcio will not take any shit from coaches who criticise referees. Mourinho should have learned a long time ago his antics won't work in Serie A.

Attendance : 48,000
Red Cards : Samuel 31 (Inter), Cordoba 38 (Inter), Pazzini 73 (Sampdoria)
