ATALANTA 2 (Valdes 16, Adriano 70)
SIENA 0

In this relegation six pointer Valdes gave his side the lead with a thumping right foot shot which flew in off post. Manfredini flicked on a Guarante free kick and Adriano headed past Curci to put Atalanta within three points of 17th placed Lazio.

BARI 0
ROMA 1 (Vucinic 19)

Attendance : 43,000

CAGLIARI 2 (Ragatzu 17, Matri 32)
MILAN 3 (Borriello 7, Huntelaar 19, Astori 38 og)

Borriello played a one-two with Seedorf on the edge of the box and tapped the Dutchman's pass into the left corner. Conti dived in the box under a challenge by Favalli, the Milan defence immediately appealed, fearing a penalty, and amid the confusion 18 year old Ragatzu smashed in the equaliser in only his third Serie A appearance. The home side were only level for two minutes, THE HUNTER restored Milan's lead with an explosive left foot shot from 25 yards. Pirlo gave away the ball in midfield with one of his trademark lazy passes, Cossu ran at Milan defence and as they backed off passed to former Milan striker Matri who tapped wide of Dida. Another player with Milan links, Astori, who is on loan to Cagliari from Milan, turned the ball into his own net when trying to turn a cross over the bar.

CHIEVO 1 (Mantovani 76)
SAMPDORIA 2 (Cassano 45 seconds, Pazzini 55)

Goal shy Chievo got off to the worst possible start inside the first minute. A Chievo defender made a mess of a longball into the box, Sorrentino parried Tissone's shot, Guberti was first to the rebound and pulled back a centre leaving Cassano with an easy tap-in. Just a few minutes later Cassano sent Semioli clear, as he ran in goal Sorrentino got a hand to the ball and he took a tumble. The ref pointed to the spot but after furious protests by the Chievo players he consulted a linesman who told him no penalty. Buoyed by their reprieve Chievo took control and should have equalised but the normally efficient Pellissier wasted two chances. Cassano helped make the second with a fantastic dummy through his legs, Tissone stabbed a ball through to Pazzini, he shot straight at Sorrentino but slotted in the rebound. Morero was sent off for 'fouling' Cassano from behind but looking at the replay he barely made any contact. Despite being a man light Chievo pulled a goal back from a corner but couldn't fashion another chance.

Attendance : 10,087
Red Card : Morero 67 (Chievo)
Assists : Guberti, n/a, Pellissier

GENOA 1 (Boakye 51)
LIVORNO 1 (Tavano 88)

Genoa lost Suazo to injury on 12 minutes. His replacement, 17 year old Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye, scored in his professional debut. He trapped a Mesto cross on his chest before smacking a shot past Rubinho. The commentator mentioned something about DC United but I can't find any link. Boakye was subbed on 82 minutes. Lithuania's favourite son, Danilevicius, headed down a high cross and Tavano bundled in the equaliser.

Attendance : 25,000
Assists : Mesto, Danilevicius

INTER 3 (Motta 29, Balotelli 52, Motta 85)
BOLOGNA 0

There was no danger of any dropped points today as Inter attacked aggressively from the start. Motta, who wasted earlier chances, latched onto a loose ball and struck a shot from the edge of the box, the ball appeared to take a deflection off a Bologna player, wrong footed Viviano in the Bologna goal. Balotelli was back in the starting line-up after making peace with Mourinho. He went close on two occasions in the first half and made it third time lucky, driving Milito's centre past Viviano. Motta scored his second five minutes from time after combining with Stankovic.

Attendance : 57,169

LAZIO 1 (Floccari 1)
NAPOLI 1 (Hamsik 38)

Another early goal, though I'm not sure if this beat's out Cassano's for the quickest of the weekend. Mauri crossed from the left, Floccari found space between two defender, jumped and met the ball with a fantastically powerful header. Lazio were cruising but threw away the lead with a poorly played offside trap which let in Hamsik on the right, as Muslera ran to close the angle he dropped an inch perfect lob into the bottom left corner. Outstanding finish.

Attendance : 27,000
Assists : Mauri, Quagliarella

PARMA 1 (Bojinov 68)
FIORENTINA 1 (De Silvestri 22)

Fiorentina's forwards combined to make the opening goal. Gilardino, who is excellent with his back to play, juggled a cross off his thigh and squared for rock star Jovetic, he split four defenders with a brilliant disguised pass and De Silvestri steered the ball past Mirante. Frey made an impossible save to deny Biabiany as he hammered a loose ball goalwards but his defence, who had looked shaky all match, made a series of errors to leave Bojinov with a tap-in.

Attendance : 18,702
Assists : Jovetic, n/a

CATANIA 2 (Lopez 14, Lopez 32)
PALERMO 0

Lopez dispossessed Goin in the Palermo half, ran forward and angled a right foot shot past Sirigu. Catania's second also came courtesy of a defensive mistake. Martinez seized on a hospital pass and ran into the box before pulling back a centre for Lopez to smash home. It was the Argentinean's sixth goal in only ten games for Catania since his January transfer from Moscow.

Attendance : 18,300

UDINESE 3 (Sanchez 9, Pepe 65, Di Natale 75)
JUVENTUS 0

Di Natale hammered a left foot volley against the post and the ball bounced perfectly for Sanchez to tap in his second goal of the season. He celebrated by removing his shirt, revealing a new, chemically enhanced physique - like that overrated Power Ranger Rey Misterio Jr without the tattoos. Udinese tore through the Juve defence with counter attacks deep from their own half on two occasions and on the second doubled their lead, Manninger made a great save with his feet to deny Sanchez but was powerless as Pepe whacked the rebound into an empty net. Ten minutes later Sanchez played a one-two with Isla before centring to his captain who touched the ball away from a defender with his left before sweeping a right foot shot past Manninger. It was Di Natale's 22nd goal of the season.
