ATALANTA 1 (Ceravolo 48)
PALERMO 2 (Cavani 12, Cavani 95 Pen)

Liverani released Pastore with an excellent ball inside the left channel, the Argentinean World Cup hopeful poked a centre across goal and Cavani tapped home. Ceravolo scored a fantastic equaliser. He kept alive a ball that was bouncing out of play, dribbled past a defender, sold Kjaer a dummy as he made his way into the box then whipped a shot inside the left post. Brilliant. Palermo got an extraordinarily charitable handball decision in the dying seconds, I'm guessing news of Samp's victory must have come through, and Cavani, who looks a bit like caveman Clay Guida, smashed the spot kick past Consigli which must mean he'll blow one in the World Cup.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Pastore, Peluso, n/a

BARI 2 (Stellini 36, Rivas 95)
FIORENTINA 0

Fiorentina's painful end to the season continued. 36 year old defender Stellini, who spent his career spent in the lower leagues, scored his first Serie A goal from a corner. Another fringe player, Rivas, tapped in what was possibly the last goal of the season. It's between him and Cavani.

Attendance : 24,000
Red Card : Gamberini 91 (Fiorentina)

CAGLIARI 1 (Ragatzu 65)
BOLOGNA 1 (Adailton 3)

Adailton smashed Bologna into the lead with a fearsome first time shot which cannoned in off the underside of the crossbar. At the other end of the age scale Cagliari's 18 year old striker punished a slack clearance on the edge of the box to equalise.

Attendance : 23,000
Assists : Pisanu, n/a

CATANIA 1 (Lopez 73)
GENOA 0

Attendance : 19,000
Red Card : Juric 63 (Genoa)
Assist : Capuano

CHIEVO 0
ROMA 2 (Vucinic 39, De Rossi 46)

De Rossi hit a peach of an inswinging cross upto Vucinic, he took the ball on his chest before finishing emphatically. Pizarro touched a pass to Roma's player of the season, De Rossi, and the much improved midfielder sent a fantastically violent first time shot into the top right corner, a career high 7th goal of the season. He's ready for Real Madrid.

Attendance : 28,000
Assists : De Rossi, Pizarro

PARMA 4 (Lanzafame 45, Lanzafame 46, Morrone 49, Crespo 90)
LIVORNO 1 (Danilevicius 67)

Lanzafame scored either side of half time. His first goal via a deflection and his second was a rising left foot shot at the end of a fine solo run. Antonelli flicked on a throw-in and Morrone beat Bardi, another youngster making a last day debut, with a low drive. Danilevicius pulled one back from a corner before Crespo, possibly in his last Serie A game, combined with Bojinov to score a fourth.

Attendance : 21,000
Assists : n/a, Valiani, Antonelli, n/a, Bojinov

SAMPDORIA 1 (Pazzini 51)
NAPOLI 0

Pazzini headed Sampdoria into the Champions League from a Ziegler free kick. If, as expected, he leaves to join Napoli and Del Neri joins Juve, Samp's Champions League adventure will be very short lived. Palermo would have made a much bigger impact. Oh well.

Attendance : 43,000
Assist : Ziegler (fk)

SIENA 0
INTER 1 (Milito 57)

Siena's goalkeeper, who happens to be on loan from Roma, tried his best to help out his owners and had a tremendous first half but he only delayed the inevitable against an Inter side that never lost their composure. Zanetti burst forward before passing to Milito who spun onto his pass and poked the ball through Curci's legs. At full time Mourinho stick up a digit on each hand before briefly disappearing down the tunnel.

Inter hit the woodwork about a million and six times. Balotelli looked really good and wouldn't it be ironic after the season he's had if he scores the winning goal in the European Cup final?

Rai conducted a post match interview with Mourinho alone, with his feet up, wearing a pair of loafers in the Inter team bus.

Attendance : 15,000
Assist : Zanetti

LAZIO 3 (Hitzlsperger 15, Floccari 45, Brocchi 52)
UDINESE 1 (Di Natale 30)

'The Hammer' Hitzlsperger scored his first Serie A goal with a trademark blast from 30 yards, the ball taking a deflection off Domizzi past Udinese's giant 20 year old goalkeeper Romo, who was making his Serie A debut. Di Natale bagged his 29th goal of the season with a brilliant solo effort. Floccari restored Lazio's lead at the end of the half with a brilliant first time strike from the edge of the box. Brocchi scored his second goal in three years with a terrible shot which somehow found it's way through a packed penalty area.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Card : Isla 36 (Udinese)
Assists : n/a, Floro Flores, Rocchi, Ledesma

MILAN 3 (Antonini 14, Ronaldinho 28, Ronaldinho 67)
JUVENTUS 0

Antonini broke a tackle in midfield and ran onto Seedorf's video game assist, a side on volleyed pass with outside of his right foot, the ball kicked up perfectly off the San Siro turf and Antonini's shot took a deflection off Cannavaro over Buffon. It was the full-backs first ever Milan goal. Another deflection conspired against Juve, as Chiellini's dived in on Pato, the ball broke to Ronaldinho who embarrassed Buffon at his near post, instead of shooting across goal. The absolutely rubbish Zambrotta overhit a cross but a clearance landed at Ronaldinho's feet, he stepped past Paulson and kissed a shot, to borrow snooker parlance, inside the right post.
