JUVENTUS 1 (Iaquinta 86)
PALERMO 3 (Pastore 2, Ilicic 62, Bovo 85 fk)

An excellent first touch allowed Chilean striker Pinilla to pull down Pastore's crossfield pass, he checked inside a defender, played a one-two with Ilicic, burst into the box, shot straight at Storari (he is Chilean after all) and Pastore knocked in the rebound. They combined for another chance, Pinilla floored a Juve defender with a back-heal in the box, Pastore ran onto the ball, opened up his body and shot against the base of the right post. Del Piero cracked a shot against the crossbar and also went over in the box looking for a penalty. Pastore stung Storari's palms with a wicked shot from wide left on goal, Ilicic bounced a miss-hit shot over Storari. Centreback Bovo ended any hopes of a comeback with a fantastic free kick 30 yards from goal, curling it around the wall and under the crossbar. Krasic and Motta combined down the right for Iaquinta's consolation goal.

Another crazy result. The Italian commentators appeared to be comparing Pastore to Zidane. Silly comparison. His pace, the way he dribbles the ball, even the way he shoots is very reminiscent of Kaka'. He's got potential to become the best player in the World. If he maintains his level of performance he'll be playing for either Real Madrid or Manchester City within the next 2 years. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant player.

Di Natale raced onto a Floro Flores through pass and beat Viviano with a shot into the left corner. Di Vaio recycled the ball after a team-mate has been flattened out on the left wing and hit Gimenez with a great cross which he headed past Handanovic. Udinese new boys MEHDI Benatia and Abdi hit the crossbar either side of half time and Di Natale flashed an acrobatic volley wide of the right post but for the second time in a week Di Vaio struck at the death, pouncing at the back post after Mutarelli flicked on a corner. Daylight robbery.

BRESCIA 2 (Hetemaj 13, Caracciolo 65 Pen)
ROMA 1 (Borriello 83)

Referee Russo really fucked over Roma in this match. The Giallorossi were robbed of a penalty when Borriello was wrestled to the ground. Caracciolo turned audio Cassetti on the edge of the box before floating a cross over to the back post and Brighi ball watched Hetemaj slam a first time shot past Julio Sergio. Eder dived to win a penalty and get Mexes a second yellow and after Caracciolo converted Hetemaj blocked a Pizarro cross with his arm in full view of the crooked ref who did nothing. Borriello gave Roma hope when he lashed in a loose ball. Julio Sergio tackling Kone, injuring himself in the process. He played the remaining minutes in tears due to the pain - as Ranieri had used all his subs. Fat boy Adriano, on as a second half substitute, almost snatched a point at the death but Sereni got down well to parry the ball to safety.

GENOA 1 (Mesto 18)
FIORENTINA 1 (Gilardino 11)

Frey prevented Genoa from winning by a landslide, he denied Toni alone three times.

INTER 4 (Milito 27, Eto'o 50 Pen, Eto'o 59 Pen, Milito 86)

A Bari defender was trying to throttle Milito with his own shirt but he kept his eye on the ball to head in Eto'os cross and open his account for the season. Rossi punched away a Sneijder cross to concede the first penalty and Lucio, who dives as well as any striker, took a massive dive and feigned injury for good measure to win the second. Stankovic sent Milito clear on the break to score Inter's fourth. Too easy and Inter are already a point clear after just four rounds.

Hernanes, who had been linked with a move to Milan for a number of years, danced through the left side of Milan's defence (into a gap left by Abate who pulled up with cramp) before pulling back a centre for Floccari to smash past Abbiati.

CHIEVO 3 (Pellissier 21, Fernandes 58, Pellissier 74)

Hamsik and Lavezzi worked a short corner, Lavezzi swung a cross over to the back post for the unmarked Cannavaro to head home. French midfielder Constant chipped a glorious pass out wide to Pellissier who watched it drop over his shoulder before crashing a volley into the bottom left corner. Fantastic goal. Hamsik curled a shot against an upright after drawing out Chievo goalkeeper Sorrentino. Pellissier turned on a Granoche flick-on and Man City reject Fernandes smashed in his first Serie A goal. Sorrentino made a brilliant point blank save to deny Hamsik. Cannavaro underhit a backpass to his goalkeeper and Pellissier ran clear to tap-in his second. Stunning upset.
