Italy U21 star striker Manolo 'not the son of Marco' Gabbiadini headed in his first ever Serie A goal from Raimondi's cross. At the other end of the scale 34 year old Tiribocchi finished off a lacklustre Bologna on a counter attack, sweeping Moralez' centre past Gillet.

Giovinco pulled back a centre for Floccari to open the scoring. A minute after the restart Cesena were level. Marchetti failed to hold Alves' stinging effort and Santana was first to the rebound. Del Nero fired a left foot shot through a ruck of players, possibly via a deflection, and the ball bounced in off the right post. Dodgy centre back Paletta swept in a close range equaliser minutes later from a Giovinco pass.

Andreolli rattled the crossbar from a Bradley corner, Pellissier headed the rebound goalwards and it bounced in off Acerbi's chest. Bradley intervened after a spot of head Tennis and sent a header back to his 'keeper 35 yards from goal only he didn't notice Destro who rounded Sorrentino before tapping into an empty net.

Belluschi met a superb Mesto cross with a brilliant flick header. It was his first Serie A goal. Genoa blew two chances to clear a Jovetic centre and Montolivo turned in Vargas' wayward shot. Natali headed Fiorentina into the lead from a corner but Palacio, who else, ran onto a Gilardino knockdown and wriggled his way between three defenders to equalise.

Dzemaili absolutely clobbered a loose ball which proved too hot to handle for Carrizo despite getting a touch. Cavani, sent clear by lovely Pandev pass, saw his shot bounce off the inside of the left post, Spoli should have cleared but managed to completely miss the ball and Cavani made no mistake. Pandev hit the opposite post minutes later and Gomez forced a corner from which Spoli began the comeback with a terrific header. Dzemaili should have made the points safe but having rounded Carrizo he skewed horribly wide. Lanzafame punished typically bad Napoli set piece defending to claim an unlikely point.

This was a hell of a match with both 'keepers making stunning saves in an evenly contested first half. Once Caceres punished lame marking to head in the opening goal from a corner it was over. A gloriously weighted pass from Vidal split the Inter defence and that annoying little prick Del Piero rolled into the left corner.

Ambrosini played a sloppy ball out of defence, De Rossi fired a shot back into the box and Osvaldo turned past Abbiati. De Rossi charged down an Ambrosini shot with an arm to concede the penalty. Mr Scudetto punished a terrible mix-up in the Roma defence to steal the points. Muntari launched onto a longball from the half-way line to Ibrahimovic and Stekelenburg was forced off his line when Kjaer was slow to react, Ibrahimovic lobbed the ball high over his former Ajax team-mate then held off Kjaer before heading into an empty net.
