All games in Italy this weekend have been cancelled due to the death from heart failure of 25 year old Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini who collapsed on the pitch during a Serie B game against Pescara. Both of Morosini's parents died while he was a teenager. His mother when he was 15 and his father two years later. His handicapped brother later committed suicide and he is survived by an older sister who is also handicapped. Livorno's president Aldo Spinelli is considering setting up a life annuity for he and hopefully the FIGC will do something to take care of her. An absolute tragic, heartbreaking family history.

Mauri headed in the equaliser from a deep Scaloni cross. Del Piero curled a free kick into the bottom right corner, Lazio criminally didn't have a man on either post.

Red Card : Kozak 93 (Lazio)

NAPOLI 1 (Lavezzi 13)
ATALANTA 3 (Bonaventura 10, Bellini 58, Carmona 68)

Former Italy U21 star Bonaventura watched as a ball dropped over his shoulder then from a ridiculous angle bounced a half volley in off the right post. Lavezzi tapped in a rebound following a fast break. Schelotto rescued an overhit cross and hooked the ball over the Napoli defence as they pushed up to play offside, Bellini initially miss controlled and as De Sanctis came off his line jumped in the air and smashed a scissor kick into the bottom left corner. Of the incredible goals scored in Serie A over the past week or so that has to be the best. It looks even better in slow motion. Carmona compounded Napoli's misery by crashing home a shot from the edge of the box. Pandev was sent off for the type of shithead foul kids do on the playground when they're losing - he kicked Moralez in the back of the leg.

Three losses in a row for Napoli. As far as a Champions League place is concerned they're almost out of the running.

PARMA 2 (Giovinco 27, Jonathan 40)

Giovinco and Floccari combined to lay on the second for Inter reject Jonathan. Novara were awarded a penalty for a foul on Morimoto but Mirante denied Rigoni with a brilliant save with his feet.

Attendance : 11,719
Assists : Jonathan, Floccari

ROMA 3 (Osvaldo 8, Totti 86, Marquinho 92)
UDINESE 1 (Fernandez 43)

Osvaldo got the run of the ball when trying to dribble through the Udinese defence, Handanovic saved his initial shot but he scored the rebound. Fernandez volleyed in the equaliser from a Di Natale pass but Roma hit Udinese with two quick goals. Totti tapped in the at back post following good work by Osvaldo, a rare goal from inside the six yard box for the Roma captain and Marquinho headed in the third from a Bojan cross.

If Roma are to get themselves back in the race for a Champions League place they'll need to beat Juventus next week in Turin.
