Barrientos headed a Gomez cross back across goal and Legrottaglie connected with a diving header. Early in the second half Bertolo won a ball in midfield and hit long to Miccoli, he beat former Juventus team-mate Legrottaglie for pace then beat Carrizo at his near post.

De Sanctis fumbled a Totti shot and from a yard out Gago put the rebound wide of a post. Shocking miss. Rosi played a one-two with Totti before pulling back a centre for Marquinho. Napoli were totally on top in the second half. Zuniga equalised with a great shot from 20 yards. Lobont made two last ditch saves before Cavani turned Kjaer and curled a shot inside the right post. Napoli seem determined to give other teams a chance of claiming the last Champions League place and should have been out of sight but threw away three points late on. 19 year old Roma striker Tallo turned away from a sliding tackle before chipping a cross to the back post for fat boy Simplicio to equalise. Simplicio ran into the crowd ala Pat Cash Wimbledon to celebrate with his family.

Portanova headed in a fantastic Diamanti free kick. Ramirez, most recently linked with Roma, tapped in a rebound after Frey failed to hold from Di Vaio. Palacio headed Genoa back into the game after some horrifically poor defending and yet Genoa are the team with Kaladze in defence. Garics restored Bologna's two goal cushion after Diamanti helped on a Belfodil pass. Palacio dribbled into traffic and laid on a pass for Chilean forward Jorquera.

Bellini hung up a superb first time cross from a Schelotto centre and Denis headed past Neto as the Fiorentina defence stood waiting for offside. Bonaventura turned onto a deflection shot to volley in the second.

Ceccarelli gave struggling Cesena the lead via a deflection off Nagatomo. Obi's equaliser took an even more decisive deflection off Von Bergen, wrong footing the hapless Antonioli. Antonioli made a point blank save from Milito, Zarate's follow up effort was blocked by two defenders, Guarin ran onto the rebound and hung up a cross for Zarate to head in the winner.

Giovinco gave Parma the lead with a fantastic free kick. Valdes sliced a header to the back post and Paletta lifted the ball over Benassi as he dived at his feet. Nice finish. Tomovic met a near post corner with a superb flick header. Esposito was sent off for fouling Biabiany on the counter attack. Parma almost threw it away but Mirante stood tall to block from Seferavic on a longball.

Pirlo rolled a low free kick into a wall, Vucinic broke the wall and side on to goal nonchalantly flicked out a left foot, lobbed the ball in off the underside of the crossbar. Ridiculous goal. The only player I have seen who has tried something similar was Boban in a league game but needless to say he didn't score. Borriello headed in a Giaccherini cross before Vidal tapped in a rebound after Vucinic forced a save from Fontana. Vucinic tapped in another rebound to complete the rout.

Brkic fumbled a tame Ibrahimovic centre and Cassano tapped in from six yards out to score his first goal since returning for his mini stroke. Ibrahimovic controlled a Cassano pass and stepped into a defender, who was probably expecting him to go in the opposite direction, before smashing into the roof of the net. Destro combined with Brienza to force a save from Abbiati, Bogdani tapped in the rebound. Nocerino became the first non forward since Materazzi in 2006 to score 10 goals in a season following a brilliant solo run. Cassano back heeled a ball through the legs of two defenders, spun onto his own pass then rolled a centre for Ibrahimovic to tap in the fourth.

Di Natale lost Dias to volley in Domizzi's cross. Udinese scored a hugely controversial second though it was in injury time so Lazio's reaction was a bit over the top. A fan whistled from the crowd and the Lazio players stopped, Basta booted a ball out to midfield, Pereyra ran forward as Lazio goalkeeper Marchetti was making his way towards the half way line, suddenly he realised the ref had not whistle for full-time and as he was running back Pereyra curled the ball into an empty net. Dias was sent off for his protests and the Lazio bench cleared.
