LECCE 3 (Giacomazzi 4, Oddo 30 Pen, Grossmuller 37)
MILAN 4 (Boateng 49, Boateng 55, Boateng 63, Yepes 83)

Giacomazzi easily lost his marker (Yepes) to head in a free kick. An utter bullshit penalty was despatched by former Milan liability Oddo. Lecce players were breaking tackles around the Milan penalty area, after Yepes missed one Giacomazzi ran into Antonioli, who went down as he was pulled by the midfielder and Grossmuller tapped in while the Milan defence stood waiting for the ref to blow for a foul. Grossmuller's bongo drums celebration was utterly brilliant and it should not catch on because no one else will do it justice.

At half time Aquilani and Boateng replaced Ambrosini and Robinho respectively and gave the Milan midfield a much needed injection of energy. Boateng had already gone close to scoring twice in opening four minutes of the second half, his ridiculous 35 yard shot drawing a fine save from Benussi before he met Aquilani's cross with a left foot shot that arrowed into the top right corner. Ibrahimovic tried to set him up for another crack at goal but his shot was charged down and the ball broke to Cassano who drew back the defenders before centring to Boateng who replicated his goal in midweek with a thunderous right foot shot. Boateng headed down a Cassano cross, Abate's shot crashed into two Lecce defenders and Boateng hammered in the rebound. It was left to Pirates of the Caribbean to head in the winner. Nocerino found Cassano in space on the left of the Lecce penalty area, he trapped the ball on his chest before lifting the most gorgeous cross upto the back post and Yepes leapt above his marker to slam a header into the back of the net.

Aquilani has already made the same number of assists as (3) as Pirlo did in the whole of last season. His one outstanding quality is his intelligence in possession.

PARMA 1 (Valdes 80)
ATALANTA 2 (Moralez 55, Moralez 58)

Moralez lead a rapid counter attack, as defenders backed off he played a pass into Bonaventura who dramatically threw himself down in the box after trying to sell a defender a dummy, the ball broke to Schelotto and Moralez tapped in his centre. The two Argentineans, though Schelotto has dreams of playing for Italy, combined for the second, Schelotto's cross was only half cleared by Paletta and Moralez snared the rebound. Valdes, who spent two years at Atalanta, have his new employers home when he scored from six yards but Atalanta held on.

SIENA 2 (Gonzalez 9, Calaio 53)
CESENA 0

Cesena buggered their high offside trap as a forward nonchalantly walked away from goal Gonzalez ran through, Antonioli went down early and he fired into the opposite corner. Antonioli made a miraculous point blank save from a Calaio header but the Brazilian lashed home the rebound.

UDINESE 3 (Di Natale 33, Domizzi 39, Di Natale 49 fk)
NOVARA 0

Armero mugged a defender as he tried to shepherd a ball out of play and pulled it back for his captain whose shot went in off a defender. Udinese's second also appeared to take a deflection given the curious flight of Domizzi's header. No question of a deflection on the third though, a textbook free kick.

Udinese have conceded ONE goal. Remarkable. They won't remain in first place of course, how long they can keep riding Di Natale is anyone's guess.

Attendance : 14,000

BOLOGNA 0
LAZIO 2 (Acquafresca 23 og, Lulic 48)

Acquafresca sliced a fiercely driven Hernanes free kick into his own net. Bologna were a constant menace from set pieces but an early second half goal was like a hard kick to the balls and completely took the fight out of them. Cisse, who hasn't scored a league goal since his opening day header against Milan, threaded a ball between three defenders to Lulic and the left back who caught the eye in the Rome derby, expertly sidestepped a challenge before sending Gillet the wrong way. It was his first Serie A goal.

FIORENTINA 2 (Jovetic 20, Jovetic 62)
CATANIA 2 (Delvecchio 43, Maxi Lopez 82)

Fiorentina broke after winning possession on the half way line, with four players charging forward the Catania defence were at sixes and sevens and Jovetic smashed a shot low into the bottom corner. Delvecchio scrambled in the equaliser from a corner, minutes after Castellini missed a free header in front of goal. Fiorentina were robbed of a penalty for handball. Jovetic turned onto a pass, dropped a shoulder to go past a defender then curled the ball inside the top right corner. Fantastic goal. Maxi Lopez scrambled in another equaliser after the Fiorentina defence failed to deal with a cross.

Mihajlovic was sent off for angrily throwing the ball onto the field. Fiorentina are going nowhere fast with his at the helm, they should sack him and bring in Del Neri. Jovetic won't be at Fiorentina much longer. Fortunately he's made a full recovery from a serious knee ligament injury. He's one of the best young forwards in the World and there isn't a team out there he would not improve.

Attendance : 18,783
Red Card : Mihajlovic 87 (Fiorentina)
Assists : Munari, n/a, Vargas, n/a

JUVENTUS 2 (Matri 5, Matri 58)
GENOA 2 (Rossi 30, Caracciolo 85)

Matri re-directed Marchisio's wayward shot from a short corner past a helpless Frey. Rossi headed in the equaliser from an absolutely fantastic left footed cross from Merkel, who was making his Serie A debut for Genoa. Vucinic should have made more of Veloso's hospital pass, he shot straight at Frey. Just before the hour mark Pirlo made his most telling contribution of the game - by not touching the ball, he stepped over a Vucinic centre taking two defenders with him and leaving Matri clear to score. The impressive Merkel hit the woodwork for the second time with a header before two of Genoa's second half substitutes combined for the equaliser. Kucka headed down Jorquera's crossfield pass and Caracciolo flicked the ball over Storari as he ran to cover his near post. Jorquera almost won it late on with a brilliant shot from distance which Storari was equal to.

Super game. Genoa were comfortably the better side in the second half. The major positive for Juve was Paraguayan Estigarribia who was a constant menace and put in some good balls. The form of Krasic remains a worry.

Attendance : 36,618
Assists : Marchisio, Merkel, Vucinic, Kucka
