LEVERKUSEN 4 (Kiessling 22, Rolfes 50 Pen, Sam 57, Kiessling 72)
SHAKHTAR DONETSK 0

Pyatov, Shakhtar's long-term weak link, was slow to react to a telegraphed Kiessling header. The charity continued in the second half when the ref awarded a ridiculous penalty. Son played a Kiessling header through to Sam for the third before completing the rout after the inept Pyatov twice fumble the same cross. He is bloody hopeless.

Attendance : 25,184
Assists : Donati, Kiessling (won pen), Son, n/a

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 (Martinez 2 og)
REAL SOCIEDAD 0

Attendance : 74,500
Assist : n/a

GALATASARAY 3 (Melo 10, Sneijder 38, Drogba 46)
COPENHAGEN 1 (Claudemir 88)

Drogba was being harassed by several defenders on the right flank so Nounkeu ran in to help and whipped in a cross for Melo. Eboue pulled back centres for fellow rejects Drogba and Sneijder. Claudemir grabbed a late consolation goal.

Attendance : 42,798
Assists : Nounkeu, Eboue, Eboue, Toutouh

REAL MADRID 2 (Ronaldo 4, Ronaldo 29 Pen)
JUVENTUS 1 (Llorente 22)

It only took Juve four minutes to shit the bed. Old man Pirlo failed to close down Di Maria and he split four defenders with a pass to Ronaldo who rounded Buffon before tapping into an empty net. Llorente tapped in a rebound after Casillas parried Pogba's near post header. Chiellini sacked Ramos to concede the penalty. Despite playing most of the second half a man up after Ronaldo feigned injury to get Chiellini sent off Real Madrid couldn't add another goal. There's nothing impressive about either side this season.

If Juve screw-up against Real Madrid in a fortnight they could be 5 points behind Galatasaray with two games to play, the last of which is away to the Turks.

Attendance : 77,856
Red Card : Chiellini 48 (Juventus)
Assists : Di Maria, n/a, Ramos (won pen)

ANDERLECHT 0
PSG 5 (Ibrahimovic 17, Ibrahimovic 22, Ibrahimovic 36, Cavani 56, Ibrahimovic 62)

Ibrahimovic tapped in two van der Wiel centres and completed his hat-trick with a crushing half volley from 35 yards. Outstanding strike. Matuidi pounced on a slip in defence to set-up Cavani's goal and Ibrahimovic joined the group of players to score 4 UCL in a single game on the counter attack, smashing a shot across goal into the left corner. There isn't a better player in the World.

Attendance : 18,465
Assists : van der Wiel, van der Wiel, n/a, Matuidi, Motta

BENFICA 1 (Dominguez 29)
OLYMPIAKOS 1 (Cardozo 83)

Mitroglou back heeled a through pass to Dominguez and he checked inside Garay as he dived in with a sliding tackle and tapped into the corner. Fine goal. The horrendous weather conspired against the visitors, who had looked the better side. A goalkeeping blunder denied them three points but if they play like this in the return they should have few problems against Benfica.

Attendance : 38,149
Assists : Mitroglou, Luisao

CSKA MOSCOW 1 (Tosic 32)
MANCHESTER CITY 2 (Aguero 34, Aguero 42)

Honda headed on a longball and Hart rushed off his line as Tosic lobbed into an empty net. Aguero rode a crazy tackle in the box before equalising and minutes before half time he pulled away from Nababkin to head in Negro's cross - Akinfeev should have punched clear.

Hart made a fantastic point blank save in the dying seconds but the real story of the match was the racist chanting at Man City's black players which is strange given CSKA have black players and Honda.

Attendance : 14,000
Assists : Honda, n/a, Negredo

BAYERN MUNICH 5 (Ribery 25 Pen, Alaba 37, Ribery 61, Schweinsteiger 64, Gotze 91)
VIKTORIA PLZEN 0

As if Bayern needed any help Robben dived to win the penalty. Alaba ran across goal onto a Mandzukic knockdown to score the second. Ribery ran at two defenders before turning sharply into the opposite direction and as Kozacik came off his line he dinked the ball over from six yards. Fabulous goal. Schweinsteiger spun onto a pass with his right foot and as he turned blasted home with his left. Gotze wrapped things up in injury time.

Attendance : 68,000
Assists : Robben (won pen), Mandzukic, n/a, Gotze, Robben
