MALMO 2 (Rosenberg 42, Rosenberg 82)
OLYMPIAKOS 0

Mitroglou had a stunning overhead kick wrongly disallowed for offside. Rosenberg punished two goal-keeping mistakes, Roberto failing to communicate with his defenders. Olympiakos were the better side.

LUDOGERETS 1 (Da Costa 6)
REAL MADRID 2 (Ronaldo 25 Pen, Benzema 77)

Moti flicked on a corner and Da Costa headed past Casillas, one again a joke on set pieces. Ronaldo had a penalty saved then dived for another. The shame of them having to stoop that low to beat a team like Ludogorets. Choker Benzema tapped in the winner from a great Marcelo cross.

Attendance : 41,484
Assist : Moti, Ronaldo (won pen), Marcelo

ZENIT ST PETERSBURG 0
MONACO 0

Attendance : 13,817

LEVERKUSEN 3 (Kiessling 25, Son 34, Calhanoglu 64 Pen)
BENFICA 1 (Salvio 61)

An appalling goalkeeping error gifting Leverkusen the opener. Ten minutes later Son, who forced the error, shot home Bellarabi's centre. Salvio stepped inside a defender to give Benfica hope before Kiessling dived for the penalty.

Benfica only had 2 Portuguese players in their line-up. The ban on third party ownership will be good for Portuguese football. There are far too many foreigners and second rate Brazilians that third parties park just to make money. With the ban the number of domestic players should increase.

Attendance : 25,202
Assists : n/a, Bellarabi, Kiessling (won pen)

ARSENAL 4 (Welbeck 22, Welbeck 30, Sanchez 41, Welbeck 52)
GALATASARAY 1 (Yilmaz 63 Pen)

Sanchez made the first with an excellent pass inside for Welbeck. Muslera sent a goal-kick straight to Flamini, Chedjou headed the ball into Welbeck's path and he showed good composure to bring the ball under control before beating Muslera with a shot into the corner. Another rapid fire counter attack ended the game before half-time. Welbeck completed his first career hat-trick after Oxy10 nutmegged a defender. Chester Cheetah took out Yilmaz for the penalty.

Attendance : 59,803
Red Card : Szczesny
Assists : Sanchez, n/a, Ozil, Chamberlain, Yilmaz (won pen)

ANDERLECHT 0
DORTMUND 3 (Immobile 3, Ramos 69, Ramos 79)

Kagawa put in Immobile with a superb pass. Piszczek made the second with an outstanding outswinging cross.

Dortmund's defence gave up plenty of chances so despite the clean sheet it's easy to see why they keep shipping goals. Aubameyang, who missed an open goal, pulled back for Ramos' second.

Attendance : 18,649
Assists : Kagawa, Piszczek, Aubameyang
