Remy went down under a challenge from Kehl to win the penalty.

Rodriguez hammered in a Hulk center to give the UEFA Cup holders an early lead but Spalletti's side were level 10 minutes later thanks to another blunder from Porto's comedy goalkeeper Helton. Shirokov, who has an excellent goalscoring record for a DM, controlled a Fayzulin free kick before lashing the ball into the roof of the net. Messi rifled in the 4th with a great left foot shot.
