Barry lost a ball in midfield and Maggio sprung a counter attack. The hopeless Lescott failed to track Cavani and he nutmegged Hart to give Napoli a shock lead. Kolarov, who arrived in the EPL with a reputation for his long range shooting only to blaze shots high and wide, equalised with a great free kick though De Sanctis was slow to react.

Rozenhal failed to clear under pressure from Doumbia and the Ivorian outmuscled him before poking the ball wide of Landreau. Doumbia scored a fantastic equaliser. With his back to play he pulled down a Rozenhal clearance then flicked the ball back over and held off Balmont, played a Two-two, which was return with a back heel, then smashed the ball into the back of the net.
