Cavani got his head to a Lavezzi corner beating Hart at his near post. Has to go down as another goalkeeping mistake. Aronica gift wrapped the equaliser with an awful pass to Silva, De Sanctis saved to deny the Spaniard but Balotelli tapped in the rebound. Cavani started and finished the move that lead to the winning goal. Lavezzi laid off his pass to the onrushing Dossena and Cavani side footed his cutback past Hart. Both teams and Napoli in particular wasted numerous other chances to score in the best match of this years competition. Lavezzi was off the charts and will do his chances of a move to the handful of clubs that can afford him no end of harm.

Ribery ran onto Kroos' wonderfully weighted pass before lobbing over Lopez. Tymoschuk hammered a shot against the right post and Gomez walked in the rebound. Oriol delivered a great cross following a strong run down the left and De Guzman caught the ball on the drop with a sweetly struck volley. Ribery ended hopes of a comeback when he danced past Lopez and tapped into an empty net.
Bayern are through in first place so may send out a weakened side against Man City.

Alvarez played a one-two with Milito on the edge of the box and opened up his body to angle the return pass into the corner - his first Inter goal. Altintop scored via a massive deflection off Samuel.
Inter are through in first place and possibly the team most 2nd placed finishers would want to draw.

Huggel touched back a ball for the onrushing Fabian Frei and both his feet left the turf as he connected with a terrific first time shot inside the left post. Sommer beat the Otelul offside trap to lay on the second. Perendija smacked a clearance against a Basel player, the ball rebounded to Strellar and he ran through to give Basel what should have been a commanding lead. Giurgiu hammered a loose ball in off the underside of the crossbar and Park played a lame pass in his own penalty area to Antal and from six yards he couldn't miss.

Jones sliced a Gaitan center past De Gea. Berbatov equalised with a glancing header. Fletcher ran past the Benfica defence as they pushed up to play offside when defending a free kick and beat Artur at the second time of asking. Just as their celebrations had finished De Gea kicked a Jones back pass straight to Cesar, Ferdinand blocked his center but Aimar (remember him?) tapped in the rebound.
Basel could send United out of Europe with a victory in their final group game. Wishful thinking. Benfica are already through due to their superior head to head against Basel.

Diarra played a reverse pass inside a defender, Higuain ran his marker into the box, checked outside then lobbed over Kelava as he came off his line. Ozil tapped in the fourth after Higuain forced a save. A longball sent Callejon clear of the Zagreb defence and he beat Kelava at his near post with a precise low shot. Higuain laid on the sixth with a lovely back heal. Beqiraj pulled back the first consolation goal with a bullet header and Tomecak tapped in the second at the back post.
Real Madrid are through. Boring.
