Jonas intercepted Lenos' awful free kick and ran through to give the beleaguered Spaniards the lead. Kiessling headed the visitors level following good work by Kadlec and Ballack. Soldado ran across the box and turned in Mathieu cross with a fantastic back heal and 10 minutes later Rami headed in Tino Costa corner.

BARCELONA 4 (Messi 24 Pen, Messi 45, Fabregas 72, Messi 92)
Petrzela ran through a huge hole in the center of Barca's defence but fluffed his lines with only Valdes to beat. UEFA's darlings were given another helping hand when Cisovski was sent off for a stupid challenge on Messi who of course embellished the contact because despite what many say, he's a dirty little cheat. He blasted in his second following a one-two with Adriano. Fabregas headed in the third and Messi finished a Pique back heal.
Attendance : 19,000
