PALERMO 2 (Dybala 52, Dybala 71)
SAMPDORIA 0

Brienza controlled a crossfield pass and waited for support to arrive before pulling back a centre and Dybala shot first time inside the left post. His second was superb. With his back to goal he dragged back a pass then thumped a low shot into the bottom right corner.

The 18 year olds first two goals in Serie A which shouldn't come as too much of a surprise - he was the most expensive transfer to Serie A this season (€12 million).

Antonelli helped on Immobile's brilliant reverse pass for Bertolacci to restore Genoa's lead. Genoa's offside trap gifted Cavani the second equaliser. Hamsik got in front of his marker to head in a 90th minute winner and to further rub salt into Genoa wounds Cavani sent dwarf Insigne clear on the break.

LAZIO 3 (Candreva 35, Klose 43, Mauri 47)
ROMA 2 (Lamela 9, Pjanic 86)

In a typically explosive Rome derby Lamela headed his team into the lead from a Totti corner. As torrential rain poured down Roma were unable to play their slick football and Lazio took hold of the game. Candreva equalised with a near 40 yard free kick which embarrassed Roma stand in goalkeeper Goicoechea. Hernanes scuffed a shot and the ball landed at Klose's feet, 2-1. De Rossi was sent off for slapping Mauri. Piris headed a longball across his own box to Mauri and he blasted in a third two minutes into the second half. Mauri was shown a second yellow for a needless handball. From the resulting free kick absolutely miles away from goal Pjanic launched the ball over Marchetti who had strayed off his line.

Fiorentina's second was also from a throw-in, Valero took a pass and dribbled between Bonera and Mexes before shooting into the right corner. Lame Duck Pato should have pulled a goal back but skied a penalty. Pazzini scored against his former club, tapping in a rebound after a Mexes back heel came off a post. ATALANTA 3 (Bonaventura 10, Denis 60, Denis 67 Pen)
INTER 2 (Guarin 56 fk, Palacio 84)

Bonaventura headed in a Peluso cross. Cassano threw himself over Consigli which is normally good for a penalty. Guarin equalised with an absolute crackerjack of a free kick, the ball was struck unbelievably hard. Inter failed to clear a cross and Moralez pulled back a centre from the left for Denis to restore Atalanta's lead just four minutes later. A massive, massive dive by Moralez won the penalty and even Handanovic, who is the best penalty saver on the planet, could do nothing as he was wrong footed by Denis. Palacio blasted Gargano's pass into the right corner but Atalanta held on to bring Inter's seven match winning streak to an end. Substitute Parra was sent off for running behind Guarin and violently shoving him in the back.

Vidal played a one-two with Giovinco, used a team-mate as a decoy as he ran wide onto the return pass then shot into the bottom corner. Isla found Quagliarella wide open for his first goal. Cascione scored with a brilliant header, somehow managing to find space in a packed penalty area to head in Nielsen's cross. Quagliarella tried to scored with a back heel volley, the ball bounced up off two Pescara defenders and Asamoah was first to react with an overhead kick. Giovinco intercepted a poor clearance, played a one-two with Quagliarella then slammed a right foot volley into the bottom corner. Vidal picked out Quagliarella with an excellent long pass and he beat Perin from a tight angle. Quagliarella completed his hat-trick in style with a sensational overhead kick.
