UDINESE 1 (Lazzari 78)
JUVENTUS 4 (Vidal 14 Pen, Vucinic 46, Giovinco 53, Giovinco 71)

Just like last week Juventus got a bullshit penalty so normal service has well and truly resumed. Giovinco ran between two defenders as he chased down a Pirlo long ball, Brkic ran off his line and as he jumped for the ball Giovinco crashed into his hip, red card and penalty. First penalty awarded due to a player being a midget. Asamoah flicked a ball through Basta's legs, Armero ran to intercept but missed leaving Vucinic unmarked dead centre, 0-2. Udinese's reserve goalkeeper Padelli fumbled from Marchisio and Giovinco tapped in the rebound. Giovinco fired home his second from a Pirlo pass and Lazzari grabbed a late consolation goal after a mix-up in the Juve defence.

Attendance : 23,000
Red Card : Brkic 13 (Udinese)
Assists : Giovinco (won pen), Asamoah, n/a, Pirlo, n/a

CAGLIARI 1 (Ekdal 91)
ATALANTA 1 (Denis 82)

Consigli saved two Cagliari penalties, first from Larrivey and then Conti after Peluso was shown a second yellow for fouling Ibarbo. Denis scrambled Atalanta in front after the home side failed to clear their lines from a free kick. Ekdal tapped in the equaliser after Pinilla headed on a corner.

There were no fans in the 'stadium' owing to a dispute between Cagliari and their local council.

Attendance : n/a
Red Card : Peluso (Atalanta 27)
Assists : Manfredini, Nene

CATANIA 3 (Bergessio 66, Bergessio 68, Lodi 84)
GENOA 2 (Kucka 26, Jankovic 82)

Kucka tapped in a centre as Catania defenders appealed for offside. Castro found a gap through traffic with a delicate lobbed pass, Bergessio took a touch and lifted the ball over Andujar as he dived at his feet. The second goal was a carbon copy in every way. Jankovic got Genoa back on level terms with a terrific drive from 20 yards but dead ball master Lodi struck 6 minutes from time, his left foot shot from 30 yards clearing the wall before crashing in off the right post.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Immobile, Castro, Gomez, Jorquera, Barrientos (won fk)

INTER 1 (Cassano 46)
ROMA 3 (Florenzi 15, Osvaldo 67, Marquinho 81)

Old man Zanetti ball watched old man Totti swing in a cross and 21 year old midfielder Florenzi beat Castelazzi with a lovely flick header. Cassano equalised in first half injury time. Sneijder launched a ball into outer space and Cassano of course killed it before scoring via a massive deflection off Burdisso. Totti played a fantastic 40 yard pass straight through the middle of Inter's 3 man defence and as Castelazzi came off his line Osvaldo nonchalantly flicked the ball over, 1-2. Beautiful goal. Florenzi should have scored a second but sliced wide from close range. Osvaldo dropped a ball over Ranocchia's shoulder to Marquinho, he couldn't bring it under control and was forced wide, from a tight angle he lashed a half volley into the opposite corner. Great goal. Osvaldo was shown a second yellow card for a blatant and un-necessary handball.

Super performance by Roma though Inter's mid-week excretions almost certainly didn't help their cause against a well rested side.

Attendance : 43,385
Red Card : Osvaldo 91 (Roma)
Assists : Totti, Sneijder, Totti, Osvaldo

LAZIO 3 (Klose 39, Candreva 56, Klose 82)
PALERMO 0

Klose poked in his first goal of the season from a Gonzalez cross. The once much vaunted Candreva, still only 25, wrong footed Barreto as he stepped away from a challenge then from 30 yards out sent a shot ripping into the roof of the net. Stunning strike. Klose trapped a cross on his chest and two Palermo defenders watched as he scored his second.

Palermo's whackjob owner Zamparni must be getting ready to sack another coach.

Attendance : 35,000
Assists : Gonzalez, Hernanes, Lulic

NAPOLI 2 (Valero 55 og, Dzemaili 75)
FIORENTINA 1 (Jovetic 87)

Hamsik headed an Insigne free kick against Valero and the ball looped over Viviano. Fiorentina were undone from another Insigne set piece, his corner was only cleared as far as Dzemaili, he took a touch with his left before thumping a right footed shot into the corner. Jovetic curled in what proved to be a consolation goal from the edge of the box.

Napoli's pitch was in a horrific state.

Attendance : 30,000
Assists : n/a, n/a, Ljajic

PARMA 2 (Belfodil 32, Rosi 86)
CHIEVO 0

20 year old France (though Algerian born) youth team striker Belfodil got between two defenders and powerfully headed home Galloppa's cross. It was the first professional goal of his career. Biabiany played a great pass out wide to Roma reject Rosi, he checked inside Dainelli before beating at his near post.

Attendance : 9,909
Assists : Galloppa, Biabiany

SAMPDORIA 2 (Maxi Lopez 45, Gastaldello 68)
SIENA 1 (Vergassola 62)

Maxi Lopez bounced a throw in off his chest, turned and expertly shot inside the left post. Gastaldello should have been sent off for an awful two footed foul on Calaio. Vergassola tapped in the rebound after Calaio's spot kick came off the right post. To add insult to injury Gastaldello headed in the winner from Obiang's cross.

Attendance : 22,000
Red Card : Felipe 82 (Siena)
Assists : n/a, n/a, Obiang

TORINO 3 (Sgrigna 34, Brighi 59, Bianchi 62)
PESCARA 0

Terlizzi walked for a clumsy foul on Bianchi - who missed the subsequent penalty. Bianchi headed down a great inswinging cross and Sgrigna blasted a half volley past Perin. Bianchi snapped at a midfielder as he tried to control a square pass and launched a counter attack, he passed out wide to Sgrigna and Brighi tapped in his centre. Man of the match Bianchi headed in Masiello's cross to complete a resounding victory.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Card : Terlizzi 27 (Pescara 27)
Assists : Bianchi, Sgrigna, Masiello

BOLOGNA 1 (Diamanti 41 Pen)
MILAN 3 (Pazzini 16 Pen, Pazzini 77, Pazzini 85)

Both teams traded bullshit penalties. Tagliavento is a terrible ref. Bologna took control in the second half and should have took the lead minutes later. Guarante played a one-two with Acquafresca as he drifted in from the left (Antonini typically not covering) and from six yards he pulled his shot wide. Agliardi jumped for a deflected cross and caught the ball but as he fell into traffic dropped it and Pazzini snatched in his second. De Sciglio, who had a mixed game after a great performance last week, pulled back a centre from the right, Bologna could only half clear, the ball broke to Nocerino and Pazzini flicked a back heel to send Nocerino's scuffed shot into the bottom corner and complete his first Milan hat-trick.

Attendance : 22,202
Assists : Pazzini (won pen), Diamanti (won pen), n/a, Nocerino
