GENOA 2 (Kucka 7, Jankovic 15)
ROMA 4 (Totti 27, Osvaldo 44, Osvaldo 55, Lamela 83)

Borriello back heeled a deflected cross out of the penalty box and Kucka strode onto the ball and smashed it into the right corner. Jankovic rattled the crossbar with a scissor kick, Antonelli headed the rebound back to him and this time he scored. Piris headed a deflection to Totti and from a tight angle he beat Frey. Piris pulled a cross to the back post and Osvaldo steadied himself before lashing a volley into the corner.

Osvaldo gave Roma the lead for the first time from a Piris corner. Borriello left the field on a stretcher 15 minutes from time and as De Canio had used all three substitutes Genoa had to play out the rest of the match with ten men. Lamela seized on a deflection to stroke home Roma's fourth.

This was the first time 20 years that Roma had come back from two goals down to win a match. Thomas Berthold, who was part of that Roma side, was an in studio pundit for ESPN UK. He first appeared in the UK on Eurosport during the Euros and, as then, was off the charts.

ATALANTA 2 (Cigarini 62 fk, Bonaventura 82)
SIENA 1 (Reginaldo 59)

Reginaldo, who as previously established was named after Reginald Perrin, met Angelo's centre with a powerful first time shot. Cigarini equalised with a video game free kick - up and over the wall and into the bottom right corner. Former Italy U21 star Bonaventura punished a dreadful clearance to complete Atalanta's come from behind victory.

Red Card : Carmona 64 (Atalanta coach)

CHIEVO 1 (Thereau 17)
FIORENTINA 1 (Rodriguez 18)

Thereau beat Viviano with a scuffed shot from a Luciano through ball. The once brilliant Gonzalo Rodriguez, who but for injury would be one of the World's best, turned in a corner.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Luciano, Toni

INTER 2 (Cassano 28, Palacio 85)
CATANIA 0

Cassano scored a rare headed goal from an excellent Cambiasso cross. Palacio bounced a Milito cross on his chest before slamming a left foot volley inside Andujar's left post. Brilliant goal.

PARMA 2 (Amauri 36 Pen, Amuari 53)
SAMPDORIA 1 (Eder 81 Pen)

Parma's rubbish goalkeeper, who is actually Argentina's #1, hooked Biabiany's leg as he ran in on goal to earn the game changing red card. Amauri added to his penalty with a terrific diving header. Eder, who is a massive, massive diver, cheated to win Sampdoria's penalty.

Why do coaches always take off their main striker, in this case Maxi Lopez, when a goalkeeper is sent off? It's totally illogical. The striker is more likely than other player to score. It's a midfielder who should make way.

Attendance : 15,023
Red Card : Romero 34 (Sampdoria)
Assists : Biabiany (won pen), Belfodil, Eder (won pen)

UDINESE 1 (Maicosuel 53)

JUVENTUS 2 (Caceres 80, Pogba 82)
NAPOLI 0

Caceres and Pogba came off the bench as Juventus saw off 2nd placed Napoli and opened up an ominous 3 point lead at the top of the table - ominous in light of the lack of strong rivals for the scudetto. Caceres headed in a corner. Man United reject Pogba got hold of Campagnaro's casual clearance (ridiculously linked with a move to Juventus, he's rubbish) with a blistering left foot volley. It was the 19 year olds first professional goal.

Attendance : 41,000
Assists : Pirlo (ck), n/a

LAZIO 3 (Hernanes 25, Candreva 41, Klose 49)
MILAN 2 (De Jong 61, El Shaarawy 79)

Hernanes began a 50 minutes rout via a deflection off Bonera. 25 yards wide of goal Candreva unleashed an extraordinary right foot curveball which arced up into the air before swinging inside the right post. Klose punished disgraceful marking to volley in Lazio's third. De Jong touched home an inswinging Emanuelson free kick to begin what proved an ill fated comeback. El Shaarawy, who continues to shine in a sea of shit, dribbled past Konko as he cut in from the right and fired past Bizarri.
