NAPOLI 2 (Hamsik 31, Cannavaro 44)
CATANIA 0

Zuniga setup the first for Hamsik with a centre and should have had a penalty awarded against him for handball. He was also involved in Napoli's second. Hamsik rolled his deflected cross to Cannavaro who applied a Cavani like finish.

Attendance : 40,000
Assists : Zuniga, Hamsik

CHIEVO 1 (Thereau 52)
JUVENTUS 2 (Matri 10, Lichtsteiner 42)

Vidal dropped a ball over the shoulder of a defender and Matri lashed a left foot volley past Puggioni. Super finish. Lichtsteiner, who had earlier wasted an outrageous Pirlo pass by shooting straight at Puggioni fired in Juve's second from a Giovinco back heel. A cross hit Hetemaj in the head and Thereau was first to the rebound but Juve were never in danger of conceding a second.

Attendance : 25,000
Assists : Vidal, Giovinco, Hetemaj

FIORENTINA 2 (Toni 27, Jovetic 50)

GENOA 3 (Borriello 16, Bertolacci 22, Rigoni 95)
LAZIO 2 (Floccari 58, Mauri 82 Pen)

Borriello lashed a loose ball past Marchetti. Bertolacci made it 2-0 with a brilliant foot shot that swung inside the left post. Floccari punished Genoa's offside trap to pull a goal back and Cana hauled down Floccari to concede the penalty. In the dying seconds Marchetti made a brilliant point blank save to deny Borriello as Lazio seemed destined to hold on for a point but from the resulting throw in Granqvist flicked on the ball and Rigoni headed past a powerless Marchetti.

Attendance : 18,000
Assists : n/a, Kucka, Lulic, Cana (won pen), Granqvist

PALERMO 1 (Nelson 83)
ATALANTA 2 (Carmona 54, Denis 72)

Carmona headed in a rebound after Radovanovic rattled the underside of the crossbar with a thunderous shot. Denis beat Munoz for pace, which shows how slow he is, as he chased down a longball and smashed a shot inside the right post. Nelson pulled a goal back with a back heel volley but Atalanta held on for this first win in five games.

Attendance : 23,306
Assists : n/a, Stendardo, Formica

PESCARA 2 (Weiss 30 Pen, D'Agostino 45 Pen)
BOLOGNA 3 (Diamanti 34 Pen, Gilardino 50, Kone 66)

Pescara's penalties were absolute bullshit. Weiss dived under no contact on both occasions in fact on the second penalty the ref didn't blow until he started rolling around and crying. Pathetic officiating. Gilardino headed in Bologna's second equaliser from a Diamanti free kick. Goalscoring defender extraordinaire Kone threw himself at a cross to volley in a spectacular winner midway through the second half.

Attendance : 11,000
Assists : Wiesse (won pen), Cherubin (won pen), Wiesse (won pen), Diamanti (fk), Morleo

SIENA 3 (Emeghara 21, Sestu 25, Rosina 55 Pen)
INTER 1 (Cassano 22)

Rubin burned Inter new boy Schelotto and rolled a centre across goal for Emeghara to tap-in. Cassano equalised with a cross that Nagatomo may have touched. Sestu restored Siena's lead with a stunning shot from the edge of the box that flew through the air before dipping under the crossbar. Donkey Chivu was sent off for bringing down Emeghara and Rosina kept his calm to beat penalty king Handanovic and complete a double for Siena over an Inter side that have only won one of their last 5 games and that's because they suck.

Attendance : 12,130
Red Card : Chivu 55 (Inter)
Assists : Rubin, Kuzmanovic, Rubin, Emeghara (won pen)

MILAN 2 (Balotelli 25, Balotelli 94 Pen)
UDINESE 1 (Pinzi 55)

Balotelli, who almost scored in the opening minutes, tapped in a deflected cross. Unfortunately for Milan Bonera was back in the starting line-up and missed a header allowed Muriel to lay-off the equaliser for Pinzi. Balotelli light (Niang) rattled the crossbar with an almost brilliant half-volley and Padelli's fingertip save kept out a Balotelli free kick. El Shaarawy was running into a dead end on the left of the penalty area when Heurtaux dived in with a totally unnecessary tackle and took ball and man in that order. The ref pointed to the spot and Balotelli did the rest.

Attendance : 35,152
Assists : n/a, Muriel, El Shaarawy (won pen)

ROMA 2 (Totti 35, Marquinho 93)
CAGLIARI 4 (Nainggolan 3, Goicoechea 46 og, Sau 53, Pisano 71)

Nainggolan tapped Cagliari into the lead from Sau's centre. Florenzi touched a free kick to Totti and he blasted the ball through a gaping gap in the Cagliari wall to equalise. At the start of the second half Goicoechea scored a hilarious own goal, the latest in many mistakes by the Uruguayan goalkeeper. Avelar swung over a cross, he jumped to catch the ball and as he turned to face goal threw the ball into his own net. Sau headed in Cagliari's third and Pisano tapped in a rebound to score their fourth after Sau rattled the crossbar with a terrific shot. Marquinho scored a last minute consolation goal from a Lamela centre but nothing could take the gloss off a famous Cagliari victory.

Zeman was sacked on Saturday. He should never have been hired in the first place. He was an inept coach 13 years ago. He is still an inept coach today.

Attendance : 32,820
Assists : Sau, Florenzi, n/a, Ibarbo, n/a, Lamela
