TORINO 3 (Brighi 5, Bianchi 38, Cerci 46)
SIENA 2 (Reginaldo 32, Paolucci 75)

Brighi slammed Torino into a fifth minute leader from Ambrosio's centre. Reginaldo scored a fortuitous equaliser from a corner, completely miss hitting the ball with an attempted volley which went in off his knee. Bianchi restored Torino's lead with a muscular header. A brilliant counter attack in the last minute of the first half put Torino 3-1 up. D'Ambrosio whacked a ball downfield and Cerci ran between two centrebacks, rounded Pegolo and tapped into an empty net. Brilliant goal. Reginaldo played in Paolucci with a clever back heel and he nutmegged Gillet. Rosina had a chance to steal a point in the 89th minute from the penalty spot after a massive, massive dive by Della Rocca but he shot wide of the left post.

PALERMO 0

Napoli continued their good start to the year with another comfortable victory. Maggio headed in a Hamsik cross and four minutes Inler unloaded with one his thunderous left foot rockets. Insigne, fresh from a role as an extra in The Hobbit, smashed in the third after great work by Inler down the right.

Assists : Hamsik, Hamsik, Inler

PARMA 1 (Sansone 77)
JUVENTUS 1 (Pirlo 51)

Pirlo scored with a deflected free kick but for the second successive game Juve conceded a goal down their weakened left flank (since Chiellini's injury) as Sansone ran past Caceres to steer Paletta's pass wide of Buffon.

Chiellini has been a much bigger loss than anyone expected. He should be back for the second leg against Celtic. Juve won't go much further in the Champions League without him as they don't have the firepower at the other end to cancel out mistakes. Lisandro Lopez is their latest idea. He was a good player but he's old and he's slow and he's not prolific so I'm not sure what he will add.

Di Natale beat Fiorentina's offside trap and nutmegged Neto to give Udinese the lead and the Brazilian goalkeeper fumbled a tame Muriel shot to send Fiorentina to a second successive defeat.
